Although tickets are required, for such monuments, the price of tickets is OK, the building is very beautiful, and it is also an art exhibition hall, you can enjoy art works and architectural structures at the same time.

Russel Cave National Monument( Russell Cave National Reserve is located in Russell Cave (Russell Cave) in the southern border of Alabama (Alabama)-Tennessee (Tennessee) is an archaeological site, which is one of the most complete records of prehistoric culture in the southeast of the United States. Here is a clue to the daily life of early North American residents dating back to 10,000 BC. The ancient Indians were the first humans in North America to use Russell Cave. Around 1000 AD, permanent perennial villages were established by local residents who had previously used the cave as temporary seasonal shelters, and after the arrival of Europeans in the early 1500s, as new settlers replaced the Native American community, Use of the Russell cave area was virtually halted. The cave was used only sporadicly as a hunting camp before it became private property in 1817. The Russell family once owned and named it. The cave site represents the development of early cultures and societies and provides important evidence of how the region’s Native Americans lived for thousands of years. Figure 3: This image reflects life in caves 10,000 years ago, when inhabitants hid in caves for months in the winter months. Figures 6 and 7: Some 5,000 years ago, the entrance to Russel Cave collapsed, forming a shelter that is one of the archaeological sites of Russell Cave National Monument and the oldest and smaller rock shelter in the Southeast United States. The flowing bed at the bottom of the cave has water all year round, and the temperature inside the cave is stable. Figure 8: There are still some traces of mural-like murals on the stone walls of the cave. The Russell Cave Monument was built on May 11, 1961, covering an area of 310 acres, donated by the National Geographic Society of the United States. Overseas Epidemic Diary Tennessee
