The track of the discontinued line of Tokachi light railway carrying beat
Original Text
The park is the site of the abandoned Tokachi Light Railroad, which used to carry beats. The SL that pulled the freight car carrying beats is preserved.
When staying at a Hokkaido hotel, walk south from the hotel and arrive in about 5. At that time, the steam locomotive of the light rail was properly preserved. After that, when I visited the Beat Museum (also with the adjacent famous bakery barley sound) several kilometers south and then revisited, I was recognizing that this locomotive was collecting beats from the Tokachi Plain. .. Recommended for a walk on a sunny day.
A steam locomotive is staticly exhibited at the entrance on a lush green street that borders Midorigaoka Park. It's flat, so it's perfect for walking and cycling.
Since I stayed at a Hokkaido hotel, I visited it as a walking course nearby. There is a lot of greenery and the atmosphere is good. Also, it seems that it was a railway site carrying materials here until the prewar period, and there is also SL, so you can enjoy it as it is. However, the scaffolding is a little bad. (Obihiro has a convex road.)
I walked to go to a sweets shop and a nice izakaya on Toteppo Street. Aside from daytime, there are few street lights at night, and the sidewalk at my feet is uneven, so I have to do something about it. It's pretty good (^_^;)
