We were here b/c it was on the 25 Temple walk but it wasn't the highlight of the temples. It was a nice place to photo, but there wasn't really much there in terms of writing, tho there was some Kanj...
The family temple of the female painter, tamahira Hirata
Original Text
About 5 minutes walk from Onomichi station. Founded as a temple of the Tendai sect during the Jowa era (834 ~ 848). Converted to the Jodo sect in 1382. The principal image is Gokoshiko Amida Nyorai. A temple of "Onomichi Seven Buddhas Tour". The mountain gate is a mysterious shape that looks like only one part of the Ryugu Gate (there is no turret in the upper part). It is said that it is made of 36 granite cut out from the back mountain. The main hall is wooden tile roofed. It is the family temple of Tamahira Hirata (1787 ~ 1855), a female painter from Onomichi, and the work is exhibited in the precincts ...
I heard that there is a stone gate of the power spot, so I stopped by on the way to Onomichi Sanzan. Railroad crossing of the JR Sanyo Main Line! Furthermore, when you climb the steep stone approach leading to Jikoji Temple, you will see the stone gate "Enmeimon", which is a hall 々. It is said that it is made of 36 granite cut out from Mt. Nichiwa on the back of Jikoji Temple. It is said that the life expectancy will be extended by the megalithic power when you pass through the gate. It was a small old temple, and the hydrangea flowers were just beginning to bloom. Hold tightly with a clay mass with a wish ...
JR This is the first temple I visited during the Onomichi Shichibutsu Tour, which started from the north exit of Onomichi Station. It is a historic temple created by Jikaku Daishi as a temple of the Tendai sect, and there is a national treasure "Fugen Enmei Image" here. It seems that the national treasure is not usually open to the public, and it seems that you will not know unless you inquire about the public. It seems that Asagao is a place famous for its fairly large and magnificent temple. Especially impressive was the 36 granites called "Enmeimon" at the entrance.
I worshiped on the Onomichi Seven Buddhas tour. There is a stone gate, which is rare in temples, and is also called "Enmeimon". If you pass through this gate while remembering good luck and longevity and leave everything to the principal image, there is no doubt that you will remove the disability and extend your life.

Desire for life
