    Large church in the centre

    This temple is a large church situated in the centre of the city, next to Jardin Zenea. It is a nice church.

    A nice first experience

    This was our first time here to see this place. It was quite impressive and ornate. Beautiful architecture.

    Large church by the Jardin Zenea

    Have no idea why it was closed when we were there. Large church on the east side of Jardin Zenea. Pretty tiles on the dome.

    Beautiful Franciscan Church

    The Jesuits apparently controlled more property than the Franciscans in Mexico, but this church shows the Franciscan Order was no slouch. (February 2019)

    Historic

    If you love old churches this one fits the bill. Well preserved with beautiful woods and stone. Close to everything. Worth a quick walk through.
