The building is nostalgic, but the exhibits are negative
Original Text
The exterior of the building is nostalgic and I really like it. However, there was an exhibition of works of art inside. To be honest, it's an impression that I'm here for a work that feels ugly, and even though I came here for nostalgia for myself, I saw something like this. In addition, the admission fee will increase during this period. It's a coupling commercial law.
I heard that Fukiya Elementary School has been reopened. I felt that the wooden architecture of the elementary school in the Meiji era was different from the current elementary school. The splendid things of the ceiling and beams! I was also able to experience it with glasses. It was nice to be able to experience the state of this area when it flourished in the Meiji era. There is a large parking lot in the cityscape area of Fukiya, so it's a good idea to walk from there.
I went there because an acquaintance recommended it a lot, but it was under preservation and restoration. You can see it from a distance. It is said to be the oldest wooden school building in Japan, but it is bigger than I had imagined. I was surprised that there was a jungle gym in the schoolyard, but an acquaintance from Okayama said, "It's normal in Okayama." It was a spot where I made a surprising discovery because it was not in the schoolyard in Tokyo.
It opened in 1873 and was the oldest wooden school building in Japan until 3 2012. It is scheduled to be released in 2022. I think it will return to vitality if it is completed.
Since it was under construction, a large scaffolding was built. The site is small, and you can see that it is a small school building by looking at the photos, but it is a wooden building from a good old age. I think it's worth seeing.
