Balay ni Tana Dicang

This is definitely one of the well-preserved ancestral houses in the West Negros (Negros Occidental). It was built in 1872 and is located in Talisay. It is a silent witness to important events in local history, including wars and revolutions. The house is a typical example of the so-called " bahay na bato", its basement is stone and the ground floor is wooden. It has 18 rooms (mainly bedrooms). It also has a very elegant living room and dining room. Its collection of antique furniture and decorations is amazing. Just minutes drive from Bacolod City (Bacolod City), this is a truly ancestral house worth a visit. Before doing so, try calling them first to check if the house is open and book a guided tour. Highly recommended!
