Rikugien Gardens is a nice Japanese garden that’s perfect for a stroll and a relaxing cup of tea when the tea house is in operation. It’s known for its seasonal autumn lights and large sakura tree in spring. However, it’s nice during the summer as well when I was there. The history of the garden is very interesting and adds to it's mystical charm. Very relaxing and beautiful. It's a perfect getaway for anyone in the Tokyo area looking for a slice of nature. It doesn’t cost much to enter which is great because if it was free, there would be more people, but it's not too crowded. I love it 😍
The night cherry
in the Liuyi Garden in Tokyo has always known that the cherry blossoms in Liuyi Garden are famous. Just have time to see the night cherry. When you walk to the entrance, the team that queues to buy tickets is about 100 meters! Stunned... I can only wait patiently when I come, think about it, since I have to queue up, I wont be able to get through the closing time.
Fortunately, although there are quite a lot of tourists after entering the park, there is no difficulty in walking the road without the thousand birds or the eyes. This retreat-built mountain garden was built in 1702 and named after the six meanings of the Book of Songs. Not far away, I saw a tall, weeping cherry tree, 15 meters high, the lights changed color, the flower branches swayed in the wind, this time a little magical ~ continue to the pool, there is a beautiful cherry tree. After watching the night cherry, if you don't drink tea in the garden, the stay time will not be too long.
Not far from the center of Tokyo, there is a quiet courtyard with a small area, but it is very delicate and elegant. This is the Liuyi Garden. It has a long history and has been built for more than 300 years. It is a typical Japanese-style courtyard, which is an annular courtyard centered on an artificial lake. Liuyi Garden is also a good place for Tokyo people to appreciate nature. The spring cherry blossoms are beautiful, and the most beautiful moment is autumn. The reflection of the red maple leaves in the lake is fascinating.
