The ancient city of Wulapo is located on the bank of Wulapo Lake, which has been around for a thousand years. According to textual research, in the famous poem "Bai Xue Song Sends the Military Judge to Beijing" by the Tang Dynasty frontier fortress poet Cen Can, the "Luntai" mentioned in "Send the king at the east gate of Luntai, when the snow is full of Tianshan Road" is the ancient city of Wulabo. The ancient city is backed by the Tianshan Mountains, and the Baiyanggoukou of the Tianshan Mountains, the necessary road to the east of Turpan and the southern Xinjiang, is at the forefront. The ancient city is slightly square, with a circumference of more than two kilometers. The city wall is built with earth bricks, and the remaining height is about seven meters. These ancient tombs are considered to be from the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period until the Han and Tang Dynasties.
