Ancient Stone Street: Huangyao Ancient Town has 8 stone streets, including Jinde Street, Yingxiu Street, Tianran Street, Zhongxing Street, Anle Street, Lianli Street, Longpan Street, and Shanbang Street. Among them, the stone street of Yingxiu Street is the widest, about 5 meters; the narrowest part is the sheep alley mouth of Jinde Street, less than two meters. 2. Dailong Bridge: Dailong Bridge was built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. It is the largest of the 15 ancient bridges in Huangyao and is also a landmark of the ancient town's scenery. On the right bank of the bridge is the Jianlong Temple, and there are many strange rocks beside the bridge, including stones shaped like turtles, camels, and giant snakes. 3. Immortal's Ancient Well: The spring water of the Immortal's Ancient Well gushes all year round, no matter how dry or flooded, it always remains unchanged. It is said that water taken from the spring on the morning of the seventh day of the seventh lunar month can be preserved for three years without spoiling, and drinking it prevents all kinds of diseases. 4. Dragon Claw Banyan: The Dragon Claw Banyan gets its name because its aerial roots resemble dragon claws and is over 500 years old. Guo's Mansion: Guo's Mansion is a typical flat courtyard-style building in Huangyao Ancient Town, built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, covering an area of about 20 acres. It has four gate towers including Jielong Gate and Taiping Gate, with a pond and garden in front of the gates, and high stone walls surrounding it, with nearly a hundred rooms.

This time, it's a misty April, holding a small umbrella, walking on the damp bluestone slabs, a casual turn can lead to an artsy coffee shop or guesthouse, and there's even a poetic illusion of strolling through an ancient town in the Jiangnan area. 🎉Due to the festive atmosphere of the March 3rd festival, Huangyao Ancient Town is so lively that it's almost shoulder to shoulder. Every shop has its own way to attract customers, whether it's the fragrant Huangyao fermented black beans, the spicy and tasty papaya strips, the fresh and delicious spring vegetables, a variety of medicinal herbs, all sorts of sauces, various pastries, plus the tender buds of ancient trees nourished by the spring rain, the sky full of green, and the little pets responsible for watching the shops, all adding a touch of freshness and liveliness of spring to the ancient town. 🏷️This is an ancient town that has withstood a thousand years of vicissitudes, preserving many buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties, as well as centuries-old banyan trees, complemented by small bridges, flowing water, and households, where every casual snapshot is a masterpiece. It's just a two-hour high-speed train ride from Guangzhou to Hezhou, so I still wanted to go and see for myself. Huang Yao is located in Hezhou, Guangxi province. It is one of the best preserved ancient towns in all of China with a history of over 1000 years.
