This observatory park is very large, with some odd-shaped buildings inside, especially with modern design concepts.
There is a striking pyramid-like observatory in the shape of a triangular cone for visitors to climb up and look into the distance to enjoy the idyllic hills and distant scenery of Biei.
Kitanishi No Oka Observation Park is an important spot on the Patchwork Road. It is said that when you come in July, you can also photograph lavender here. But when we came in August, we could only see the green wheat waves. I don’t know whether it is wheat waves or not. I don’t know what crops it is, but it’s just a large area of green waves rippling with the wind and the scenery is very charming. You can overlook the Tokachidake Mountain Range of Daisetsuzan, which is refreshing.
Kitasai Hill in Biei, Hokkaido is not a patchwork hill composed of a uniform long strip of gardens of various colors. In other words, it is not an immersive experience featuring lavender. It is standing on the Kitasai Hill Observatory and looking around. The beauty of rolling hills. The mountains in the distance, fields of various colors from far and near, and the blue sky and white clouds together form a beautiful picture like an oil painting.
