Shirogane Blue Pond & Waterfall 💦

Take Bus 39 from JR Biei Station, costs about ¥550 for 30 minutes journey. Would say it was quite worth it but the buses running times are limited else, would have loved to go up further into the mountains but was worried there’d be no transport back to the hotel. Pretty cold but there is a noodles store / eatery run by a friendly elderly couple there and would recommend going there for a meal or for souvenirs :)))
