Many of Budapest’s attractions are concentrated on both banks of the Danube, as is the Parliament. From the Fisherman’s Bastion on the opposite bank, you can see a panoramic view of the Capitol. The Parliament Building is where the Hungarian Parliament works, so only a limited part of it is open to the public, including scenic stairs, domed halls, stair platforms, parliament halls and so on. Moreover, these open parts can only be visited under the leadership of the staff. We didn't stay in Budapest for long, so we didn't enter.
The Budapest Parliament Building is located on the Danube River, on the Pest side, opposite the Fisherman’s Bastion in the Buda District on the other side of the river. The Parliament Building is an iconic sight of Budapest. It attracts people's attention both day and night.
