Photos of The Palaces Augustusburg & Falkenlust

This is one of the masterpieces of German scroll architecture in the 18th century. In 1985, it was listed as a "World Natural Cultural Heritage" by UNESCO. Maybe nothing spectacular from the outside, it looks like an ordinary old castle, but inside there are some really spectacular rooms. The first few rooms are beautiful, but maybe nothing particularly stunning, but you'll be jaw-dropping when you get to the stairs to the second floor.
