Kitahoshiyama Lavender Garden is an official garden operated by Nakafurano, located on the slope of Kitahoshiyama. Every mid-July, the entire hillside is covered with purple lavender, and there are poppies and other flowers in the middle. The lavender garden also has a sightseeing cable car for climbing to the top. When you take the cable car to the top of Beixing Mountain, you can overlook the beautiful flower fields below the mountain, which is known as a million-dollar view. In addition to the flower fields at the foot of the mountain, from the top of the mountain, you can also overlook the rural scenery of the Furano Basin and the magnificent scenery of the Tokachidake Mountains in the distance.
