The museum is located in a citadel and it has a wide range of artifacts related to the history of the Sughd region of Tajikistan.

Small museum with some interesting exhibits. Worth seeing. We had a guide show us around. He spoke English. The place wasn't busy.

Hotchpotch

An absolute hotchpotch ! The outside is a total reconstruction in brand new white house bricks ; fairly recent photos show the original fortification in mud - could not be more fake if they had tried....

Worth Checking Out to Learn About Local History

This is a small museum and you can see the entire thing within an hour. There are some beautiful examples of Suzani and traditional clothing that I enjoyed in particular.
