Duomo di Milano or Milano Cathedral is simply stunning! Its Gothic and Renaissance architectural styles are mesmerising! I’ve visited this place thrice in a different dates: first with my mum and my brother in 2018 , then in 2022 with my boyfriend and in 2023 with my best friend and her baby!
More• Piazza del Duomo, located in the center of Milan, is a landmark building in Milan
• Admire the charming main hall, towering stone pillars, and study the design elements of various styles
• On the platform level, you can see the exquisite spire on the top of the church and the statues on the spire
△ The church has a total of 135 large and small spiers, each with a statue on it. Sculptures and spiers are one of the characteristics of Gothic architecture. Milan Cathedral vividly expresses this feature, so it is also the city with the most statues in the world. It is a special-style church with more than 6,000 marble statues.
△ Immerse yourself in the treasures and artistic touches inside the magnificent church. Admire the incredible nave and the way the light sparkles through the stained glass windows. Study the sarcophagus and approach the beautifully decorated altar.

I am truly amazed by this wonderful cathedral made of full marble! all the sculptures are so lively! It’s very crowded at the square I can hardly get a nice photo alone, but there are professional photographers which you can pay for.
it is a magnificent building. although we have not been inside even in the outside one feels the weight of history and beauty of the period Italian architecture. strongly recommend to visit the square in front and the cathedral itself
This Gothic cathedral is in the center of Milan. I love to travel to different countries to visit these cathedrals as they are a symbol of history.
It is worth going to see. It is recommended to go up the elevator. At 9:30 in the morning, there will be fewer people. It is important to book tickets in advance, otherwise you will queue up to buy tickets for at least 1 hour. Go up 9:30 and go down about 10:30 (there are still many places to take pictures on the top), go downstairs is a very narrow staircase, about 5-10 minutes down, down is the cathedral, shocking architecture and design, stroll around and enjoy the history, Come out in about an hour, go straight (in line to buy tickets) and go straight through the crowds and you will get the best and cheap bags at the Milan Museum . The trip was so enjoyable, Milan Cathedral is basically within a 25-minute walk to other attractions such as Peace Gate, Gallery and more.
