Photos of Naha Municipal Tsuboya pottery Museum

Tsuboya is the hometown of Naha pottery, and the Tsuboya Museum houses more than 300 pieces of elegant traditional Okinawan pottery. Here, we can learn about the history of Okinawan pottery, the working conditions of people at that time, and the production process of traditional Tsuboya-yaki. The exhibition hall on the second floor also has an ancient kiln where pottery was made. You can buy authentic Tsuboya porcelain in the museum lobby.
