Qinfeng Tower

Qinfeng Pagoda is in Yanfu Temple, no tickets are required, and it is being repaired. It was built in Liang Tianjian for two years (503), and it was first named the Buddha Pagoda of Shakya. Later, it was named Qinfeng Pagoda because it was built in the south of Qin Wangshan Mountain. At the end of Yuan, the temple was destroyed, and only the ancient pagoda remained. During the Ming Hongwu years, it was rebuilt. During the Wanli period, the monks and the monks rebuilt the Fatang and the mountain gate. At the end of the Ming Dynasty, the temple was destroyed again. At the beginning of Qing Dynasty, the temple monk Ono Miyin rebuilt the Buddhist temple and Jing Pavilion. In the first year of Tongzhi (1862), the Taiping Army set fire to the tower. The shelves, escalators and surrounding railings of the tower were torched, and only the top shelf was left.

The first thing every visitor to Qiandeng can see is the towering Qinfeng Pagoda. The landmark of Qinqian Lantern in Qinfeng Pagoda, like Yanfu Zen Temple, was first built in Nanliang, then rebuilt in Song Dynasty. It has a history of 1500 years. It is a provincial cultural relic protection unit in 1956.
