Pu'er Sun River National Forest Park is rich in heat, rich in climate, dense forests, rich in forests and rich in food. Natural salt ponds are distributed on both sides of the Sun River, which provides excellent environmental conditions for the survival and reproduction of wild animals. There are now more than 200 species of mammals and birds in the area, as well as amphibians and reptiles, fish and insects. The wild animals that are under national protection include bison, bee, grey langur, golden cat, clouded leopard, otter, sambar, pangolin, monitor lizard, big lynx, green peacock, suma antelope, black bear, and white-bellied golden pheasant.
