About Mengsuo Dragon Pool

Located on the south side of the county city of Ximeng Autonomous County, Pu'er, the Mengsuo Dragon Pool is a natural freshwater lake on a plateau and a national water conservancy scenic spot. The virgin forests around the lake are beautiful, with many precious plants and rare wildlife in the forest. According to legend, Mengsuo Dragon Pool is connected to a dragon pool across the border in Myanmar. Around the the Yi people's wooden drum festival, the waters of the two lakes become clear and muddy at the same time. This strange occurrence is believed to be the two dragon pools meeting.

Everything has left a deep impression, Mengsuo Longtan, a suitable leisure place for trance, is worth visiting! ____________

There are exquisite murals everywhere, towering iron towers, straw-paved canopy, exquisite wood carving totems, which make people feel like they are in the palace of art. When you see this building, you may guess where it is. Jiang Sanmulo. There is this sentence in the song "A Wa People Sing a New Song". This is the county seat of Ximeng Wa Autonomous County in Yunnan Province.

Mengsuo Longtan is a 4A scenic spot, located in the southern end of the county town, showing a "city in the forest, forest in the water, water in the city" landscape, the Western Union has also become "China's first ecological city. Longtan ticket is 40 at present. The aunt of the ticket office at the entrance said that there was a pavement under repair. She charged you 20. Then she gave me a ticket with 20 denominations and no idea where it was. The casualness reminded me of Chengdu Sichuan Opera. However, I later found that no one checked the ticket at the door I came out of. My goal was the holy place of Lord Longma in Longtan, where thousands of worshippers wore ox heads, and was named one of the 100 most beautiful photographic spots in Yunnan by National Geographic. Longma is the pronunciation of Wa language, "dragon "forest," Maye "buffalo head," means the forest sacred place of hanging cow head. Wa people are said to be the gathering place of gods. Wa people will come to this place for sacrifice whenever major events occur. Legend has it that before liberation, the Wa people were still in a primitive society. When crops failed, they even worshipped with human heads. The holy place in the depths of Longtan still needs to climb an upward ladder. Although today "the bull head is still in existence, the human head has disappeared "but at that time it was getting dark in the western mountains, after climbing up, the cool wind blows, looking at the bull head, and recalling the legend of the human head, it was somewhat frightening.

Very worthwhile attractions, tickets from October 1, 2018 from 50 yuan to 30 yuan, after 17:00 p.m. free tickets, are local people walking, running. Inside, there are primitive forests, lakes, distant mountains, waterfalls, and cowheads for sacrifice and prayer at that time, which are very shocking.

There is a secret hotel in the scenic area. The environment of the lake is very good. The wooden trail along the lake can go all the way to the place where Wa people worship. All the way up the hill were covered with cow skulls, and there were tens of thousands of nonsense, slightly gloomy.

Walking around the lake for at least one and a half hours. It's a little tired. But the scenery is so beautiful. There's also a mysterious site for worshiping Lord Dragon and Devil. It's very shocking. There are few people and beautiful scenery. It's very suitable for relaxation.

Living in the secret Wazhai, just inside the park. On rainy days, people in the park are not allowed to visit the holy place of Lord Shanglong. It's quiet to walk in the garden. There is a Myanmar monastery which is not open in maintenance. It feels a little loose in management.
