Travelogue of Seda
A round trip of three days, with a long journey, just to see the charm of Seda.
The day before the trip, due to heavy snow, all the tickets booked online were cancelled. Worried about the trip being ruined, I contacted the scalpers in advance, in case I couldn't buy tickets, I would buy from the scalpers.
I was lucky. I arrived at the Seda Jinma Distribution Center in the morning and just bought the last bus ticket to the Buddhist Academy in the morning.
From the distribution center to the Buddhist Academy is about twenty to thirty kilometers. Along the way, the whole area of red houses is in sight, feeling that the journey of more than ten hours is not in vain.
Seda is very beautiful, as beautiful as another world.
Regrettably, when I walked down from the altar city to the library and prepared to return to the altar city, I suddenly felt dizzy and had altitude sickness, so I couldn't see the sky burial.
Perhaps it's just not destined with the sky burial.
When we were in the altar city, a Tibetan child came to us and said he could take us there. It costs 50 per person, which is actually taking a bus down the mountain and then walking up the mountain. Those who went said it was very tiring and not very pleasant in the end.
I had no feeling at all when I went to Yulong Snow Mountain at 4680 meters above sea level, and I didn't have altitude sickness at 4000 meters above sea level in Western Sichuan, but I had severe altitude sickness in Seda. Friends who go to Seda still need to be mentally prepared, bring oxygen, just in case.
There is a hospital in the Buddhist Academy, but it only opens at three o'clock in the afternoon in winter.
You don't have to take the sightseeing bus into the mountain when you go down the mountain. You can take the bus down the mountain. There are many drivers who pull passengers back to Chengdu or Seda County. You need to bargain. Some drivers charge 70 per person to Seda. If you get on the bus and there are no other passengers, you may not leave for half an hour or an hour.
My friends took a 7-seater car and paid 10 yuan per person to Seda County.

The pilgrimage place for purifying the soul|| Seda
||Seda. Seda, located in Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Plateau. The plateau scenery of Seda County is beautiful, surrounded by mountains, countless maroon wooden houses are built along the mountain, the red that spreads all over the pits and valleys and spreads all over the slopes on all sides, stretches endlessly, and you can't see the edge at a glance. In the early morning, with the chanting, one can feel a kind of purification of the soul. At night, the lights gradually light up, illuminating the sky above Seda, which is incomparably beautiful. If you want to let go of some trivial matters, come on a pilgrimage of vision and soul.
WilliamMcGregor46
Thinking of going to Seda, I advise you to think carefully!!!
Thinking of going to Seda to purify your soul? I advise you to think thrice! Seda's ethnic and folk religious culture is profound and extensive, it is also one of the birthplaces of 'The Epic of King Gesar', with Gesar culture and temple religious culture representing a very important position in ethnic and folk culture. In addition to religious temples, there are also attractions like the Hoxi Wildlife Conservation Area, Seda Five-Color Sea, and other beautiful sceneries.
JackBeaumont48
Journey to Seda: A mysterious pilgrimage in Tibet, dare you come?
Sichuan Seda is a very beautiful place, the climate gradually cools from October to November, with a large temperature difference between day and night. The daytime temperature is around 10-15 degrees, and the night temperature will drop to around 0 degrees. The local customs are very distinctive, here are some suggestions:
Day 1: After arriving in Seda, you can visit the Seda Monastery, one of the largest Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in the world. You can visit the monastery and learn about Tibetan Buddhist culture and beliefs. You can stay in local homestays or hotels at night.
Day 2: You can go to the grasslands around Seda County, where there are beautiful grassland scenery and rich Tibetan folk culture. You can ride horses, tug-of-war on the grassland, watch Tibetan song and dance performances, etc. You can return to Seda Monastery at night and enjoy the night view on the platform in the monastery.
Day 3: You can visit other nearby attractions, such as Nianbaoyuze, Baiyu Temple, Wengda Town, etc. These places have unique scenery and culture, and you can deeply understand the local customs and lifestyle.
During the trip, respect the local customs and religious beliefs, and do not violate local taboos. At the same time, due to the high altitude and thin air, it is recommended to carry some common medicines and health products for emergencies.

Ganzi Alien Planet Free Mopanshi Park
Mopanshi Park is known as the "Chinese Geological Bermuda"
It has the world's unique metapelite rock forest
The overall style is grand and cool
A casual snap gives you the feel of an exotic blockbuster &
Mopanshi Park. Post-apocalyptic wasteland style photo guide
📍Location
Regarding the free entrance to Mopanshi Park, it is a few kilometers north of the entrance to Mopanshi Park scenic area
Navigate to Kama Bridge map one, cross the bridge to the position at the head of the bridge, turn left in front of the left signboard and go downhill, continue straight to the simple free parking lot and toilets.
There are villagers offering horse riding services, but actually the distance is very short, it's not tiring to walk, and it's recommended to go on foot if you're on a budget, horse riding is also nice. It's very photogenic.
Mopanshi Park Scenic Area

The Alien Planet of Western Sichuan, Moshizhen, is so cool!
The Alien Planet of Western Sichuan, Moshizhen, is so cool!
Supreme Experience, Alien Planet
The scenic area covers about 5 square kilometers, with an altitude of about 3500 meters, and is the only plateau karst forest landscape in China. The Moshizhen scenic area costs 60💰 per person
🛴How to Play
The most famous is the "Alien Planet", where there is a sign that says 'Must drive on Highway 318 in this lifetime', which is a check-in spot for many self-driving enthusiasts in Western Sichuan. Right next to it is the space suit experience station, where you can put on astronaut gear and walk in this fantastical stone forest, feeling like you're traversing outer space. Along the plank road, you can enter into a world of ravines and gullies. The 'Bone Gorge' from 'Candle in the Tomb: The Kunlun Shrine' is right here, with eerie white bones scattered all around.
🗺️Tour Route
There is only one tour route, from high to low, without retracing your steps, just follow the well-constructed wooden path, and after the tour, take the sightseeing bus back from the back gate.
Known as the 'Geological Bermuda of China', the entire scenic area is filled with strange mountains and rocks, making it very photogenic, especially on cloudy days~ (In reality, the Moshizhen rocks are blackish-grey, not as black as they appear with filters~)❗
White and black are colors that are easy to photograph, but seeing many young ladies in colorful ethnic costumes also looks surprisingly good~
Whether to Take the Sightseeing Bus
①The park has two gates, if you take the sightseeing bus, you enter from the main gate, if not, you enter from the side gate.
❷The sightseeing bus ride takes 5 minutes, if you walk it takes about 1 hour.
❸The sightseeing bus drops you off at the highest point of the scenic area, and the path is downhill all the way, with a very reasonable route that allows you to overlook from high up as well as enter closely from the branching plank roads.
④After touring the entire route, you will exit from the side gate and then take the sightseeing bus back to the parking lot.❗So overall, it is recommended to spend the 20💰 on a bus ticket for a round trip, as it saves both time and effort.

How to shoot the most beautiful in Seda? These places and photography guides are shared with you!
, a sacred place.
is a gem in the hearts of every photographer. It is a piece of jade, and it is also a place where countless photographers are eager to explore and explore.
[Best location]
1
On the highest slope of the Buddhist College, it is also the most magnificent place. Arriving at the Mandala, I was fortunate enough to stand on a high point overlooking the valley. There are people who are long-headed everywhere, and there are people who are turning around. Also go through it! Turn on 108 laps for the one hundred and eight heroes that have emerged and are about to appear in your life.
1
shooting skills: If you want to take portrait photos, a stable tripod is a must. The angle between the position and the hall and the sun is about 100 degrees. Sidelight shooting can better shape light and shadow. The whole hall is shining brightly under the light of the morning sun. The houses around it are like the stars holding the moon, and the effect of the blur is better.
2 The southernmost hillside of the Buddhist College
From the Larong Hotel to the hillside is about 2 kilometers round and round, and friends who drive by themselves can drive directly to this hillside. For many photographers, this is also a must. Personally, I really like the night view here. It is very memorable and very beautiful to take a commemorative photo here.
Whether it is a Buddhist college or a celestial burial, it will strongly impact your senses. Maybe in the future and to blend in with the complex tastes, you have to rush on the road, but everything you see here will make you take a long time to recollect. The Buddhist College is gradually being dismantled, and it is late, and it may have changed.

How to have fun in Western Sichuan in winter?
1. Go ice skating on various lakes, such as the wild horse sea of Zhe Duo Mountain, the Sting Lake of Kangding Airport, the Lake of Black Stone City, the seven mountains and seven lakes of Tagong Grassland, it's really great!
2. If you want to see the golden sunshine on the snow-capped mountains, many places have been closed due to the snow.
There are actually several peaks around Xindu Bridge that you can go to, such as Yuzi West, Gedilam, Mannuka, and the newly built Ze Ren Beng Zeng.
It's only about an hour's drive from Xindu Bridge, and cars can reach directly.
For those who want to go, it hasn't started snowing there yet, set off quickly~ Xindu Bridge
