Shenzhen's lesser-known Thai sakura spot is not crowded at Yuanbo Garden
When it comes to sakura, we often think of Japan's sakura, China's Wuhan sakura in Hubei, and often overlook the Thai sakura - Tabebuia rosea. In addition to Shenzhen Bay and Yuanbo Garden, there are actually two other places in Shenzhen where Tabebuia rosea blooms beautifully.
Location: Sihai Park in Nanshan District (Pictures 2 to 6)
The lakeside in Sihai Park is lined with Tabebuia rosea trees in full bloom, with photos taken on the morning of April 11th as a reference from Picture 2 to Picture 6. The highlight is that the Tabebuia rosea trees are right alongside the road, where people can walk among them, making it easy to take good photos, and there is also a lake nearby, allowing for shots of the reflections of the trees in the water.
Transportation: About a 15-minute bike ride from Exit D of Haiyue Station on Metro Line 2
Bus routes 22, 70, 226, b737, k105, get off at the 'Yucai Secondary School' bus stop, and walk about 100 meters to arrive.
Location: Kaiming Park in Guangming District (Pictures 7 to 12)
The Tabebuia rosea trees in Guangming District's Kaiming Park are mainly planted around the park's lawns, with about fifteen trees in sight. The scene is more open than Sihai Park, with fewer people, and is more suitable for portraits of various scenes.
Transportation: 500 meters walk from Exit D of Fenghuangcheng Station on Metro Line 6, buses passing by include M337, M436, M525, M387, B971, M206, B959, M356, B926.
Sihai Park was built in 1987, with a total area of about 13,000 square meters. After continuous improvement year by year, new attractions and art sculptures, children's playgrounds, art tea houses have made the park a comprehensive cultural park for the people of Shekou to relax and entertain.
I living close to that park, go walking with my friends here, nice and quite place.
This park was the very first place I visited when I came to Shenzhen. I loved it from the moment I entered. It’s such a beautiful place and always gives me peaceful vibes whenever I go there. The thing I like the most is that it’s not too crowded and there are lots of photo opportunities.I highly recommend visiting this spot!
Shenzhen Nanshan Sihai Park, because half of the park is half of the lake and half of the lychee forest, so on the original basis of renovation and new Yunlin Hidden, Green, Tingyu Pavilion, Appreciation He Pavilion, Dieshui Bridge Jiukong Bridge, Hunchun Bridge, Wangyue Gallery, these can be seen everywhere Pavilion, Yu, Gallery, Bridge, Every place is a scenic line, super charming, the tea garden has become a unique Lingnan tea bar after the renovation and upgrading. Blue bricks, gray plastics, stone carvings, promenades, garden gates, courtyard stones, as if time and space crossed. The lake-bound runway, this should be the biggest transformation~ The park was originally very dilapidated and not suitable for running, but now it has become a 1.3 kilometer-long lake-bound runway. The runway is built around the lake. You can run and enjoy the park's dollars. After the renovation of the Sihai Park, it is more like an elegant Lingnan garden. It can be said to be the most Chinese-style park in Nanshan. Today the park has a new look.
Stepping in the footsteps of spring, facing the spring sun, visited the newly upgraded Sihai Park. Sihai Park not only has picturesque scenery, but also poetic covered bridges and leisure gardens. There are landmark buildings "Gaishi Taurus", ecological underwater forests, pavilions and towers, and the lake-ring runway. At a glance, it is like a Suzhou garden, like a Jiangnan painting "Jiu Kong Bridge", which is just right. It is very elegant and beautiful!
