Lake Toya Fireworks Festival

don’t miss the fireworks daily 8pm at Lake Toya. the view + the cool weather was splendid. Think its around 10 mins but please wear a windbreaker. The wind can be merciless. Even the view in the day is really good. Mt Yotei aka mini Mt Fuji in good view! Recommend everyone to visit!

Available during summer nights. Its the highlight each night. One can choose to pay to get on a boat and carch the fireworks onboard.

The main reason for coming to Lake Toya is to see the fireworks on the lake. At 8:45 pm, the fireworks on Lake Toya will start. There are several small boats on the lake, which are firing guns into the lake, and the fireworks will blow up in the sky. There is a speedboat between the boats, flashing the signal lights and directing the boats to drop fireworks in order. Where is the best place to see fireworks by the lake? There is no fixed location ~ it may be to take care of the hotel by the lake. The boat is moved and placed. It is slowly moved from one end to the other to ensure that guests of the hotels by the lake can see fireworks in the hotel. The cruise ship followed the boat, and we also followed the boat from one end to the other by the lake. The 20-minute fireworks show runs until the end of October.
