There is a cafe on the top offers alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks but with limited selection of foods.

Winter in Senja Island Tromso
Last winter before Covid 19 arrived, me and my friend went for Scandi trip. One of the country we've visited is Tromsø, Norway.
It was unforgettable moment that we've experienced. Truly amaze with the country. Hats off to the owner of airbnb. I'm so thankful for the best experience.
Please scroll my picture. The airbnb that we've booked is so beautiful. Manage to see aurora with my naked eyes and dolphines too.
Nearby attraction in Tromso is : Funicular Fjellheisen. From the top, you can see the Tromsø town from above. if you love to hike, you can do it too. It is so refreshing up there!
Enjoy!!

Absolutely amazing views! This is a must do when you're here in tromsø!! It may be a little pricey but I promise it is well worth the views especially in winter time with the snow! It was snowing when we visited. The mountains are all covered with snow.
At the top there is a restaurant with coffee and tea. Also a very nice view from the cafe if you want to take a break.
Absolutely brilliant. Well worth a visit, and the views are spectacular.

I thought Iceland was beautiful enough, until I went to Norway
I spent a week in a dreamlike trip at the cold end of the world
Successfully took the cable car to see the pure white dreamscape at the mountain top
Chased whales in the Arctic Circle and waited for the aurora
Every frame in Tromsø is indescribably beautiful
Snow-capped mountains and European-style log cabins are everywhere
Deer wandering in the snow, whales swimming in the sea
It took me a long time to readjust after returning to London, everything felt so unreal
As if the days in Tromsø were a virtual dream
It seems like there's a travel hangover after visiting each place
In summary! It's as beautiful as a fairy tale world in an anime
The entire city is covered in a blanket of snow
It's really fun! So beautiful! I simply can't get enough...
You must experience chasing the aurora/dog sledding-reindeer sleigh/cable car/whale watching

Arctic Cathedral
#celebratewithtrip
Beautiful cathedral. One of the landmarks of the city. Walked over the Tromsø bridge and it was definitely a fun walk and exciting to see the close getting closer and close as you battled the wind to get there. You can easily locate it from Fjellheisen too. For a place designed and built in the '60s, the cathedral looks very modern and clean. Such a joy to visit this incredible cathedral.

In Northern Europe, as long as the latitude is high, the weather is good, there is no light pollution, and the probability of seeing the aurora is relatively large. Even if the above three conditions are met, the aurora does not appear every day. It is recommended to stay in the local area for more than 3 days, and the most The hot spotlights are in northern Norway and northern Finland. Norway's Tromso is located in the middle of the Aurora Ellipse, with a higher latitude than northern Sweden and northern Finland. It is also warmed by the Atlantic warm current and is therefore one of the best places to watch aurora in Northern Europe.

Tranquil Tromsø 🌌
Tromsø, located well above the Arctic Circle in Norway, is a city known not only for its vibrant cultural life and historic Arctic expeditions but also as one of the best places in the world to witness the mesmerizing Northern Lights. Surrounded by mountainous landscapes and fjords, Tromsø offers a unique blend of outdoor activities and a lively urban scene.
Begin your adventure by exploring the city center, which is characterized by charming old wooden houses mixed with modern architecture. The iconic Arctic Cathedral, with its distinctive peaked roof and large stained-glass window, is a must-see. It serves as a beacon for the city, especially when lit up against the polar night's dark sky.
Tromsø is one of the best places to see the Northern Lights, and the aurora season, which runs from September to March, attracts visitors from around the world. Numerous tour operators offer guided tours that take you away from city lights to places where the chances of spotting the aurora are higher. Experiencing the Northern Lights dancing across the sky in a spectrum of green and purple is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
During the day, embrace the great outdoors by going on a dog sledding adventure, where you can mush your own team of huskies across the snowy landscape. Alternatively, a cable car ride up to the Storsteinen Mountain provides stunning panoramic views of Tromsø and the surrounding fjords.
Don't miss the opportunity to learn more about the region's Sami culture. Several experiences allow you to meet Sami guides, learn about their traditions, and even feed a herd of reindeer. These cultural encounters offer insight into the indigenous people's way of life in the Arctic.
Despite its northern latitude, Tromsø is surprisingly accessible with a lively nightlife and a range of dining options that include local delicacies like reindeer and fresh seafood. The city also hosts several festivals throughout the year, celebrating everything from film to music, often with an Arctic twist.
Visiting Tromsø during the winter months not only offers the magical aurora but also the experience of the polar night when the sun does not rise above the horizon, creating a unique twilight atmosphere during the day.

Arctic Cathedral in Tromso
A wonderful small cathedral situated on a hill. The cathedral was built on 19 November, 1965. A glass mosaic titled "The Return of Christ" was added in 1972. It's a very unique landmark of Tromso.
We walked from city centre and crossing the iconic bridge connecting to the other side of the city. You will not regret by doing so as the panoramic view while crossing the bridge is just too awesome!
It's could be very cold during the journey, remember to wear more layer to keep yourself warm!

Nordic fairyland Norway
Norway combines magnificent natural scenery with rich Nordic culture.
In summer, you can go to the north to see the aurora or the fjord towns in the middle. You can also follow the narrow coastline of the fjord, feeling the magic of this mountainous terrain.
Surprises often appear at the end of the road. During the day, you can drive to visit the fjord, or you can choose to take a boat to appreciate the peculiar cliffs on both sides of the land.
The south is sunny, and the quiet fjord towns surrounded by mountains attract tourists all year round. Romantic outbound boating is also a must-do project.
In addition to the scenery, the simplicity and friendliness of Norwegians are also unforgettable. The leisurely lifestyle of Nordic culture integrated into it adds more charm to this land.
Regardless of summer or winter, you can experience the wonderful nature and cultural essence here. Norway is worth your slow experience and respect.

In the Norwegian Arctic City, the town of Ersfjordboth, a half-hour drive from Troms, is a great place to watch lasers.
Winter from December to early January, the sunshine time is only 1 to 2 hours. When we take pictures, it is already noon, but it is only the brightest time. I want to experience the extreme night. This is the best time. I am afraid that the sunshine will be too short to choose Aurora in February and March.
The town of Fiordland has a small population and is very quiet. The snow covers the snow roof of the residential houses. In order to create a warm feeling, their houses will have warm lights in the house for 24 hours. The snowy mountains, the icy waters, the narrow fjords between the two mountain ranges, and the skiing frames that residents usually use for walking. If you can wait until the evening, the aurora of the fjord is very shocking. of.

Go with her to the end of the world, chase birds, chase whales, chase the bright moon
📍𝕋𝕣𝕠𝕞𝕤ø | 🇧🇻ℕ𝕠𝕣𝕨𝕒𝕪
What romantic things would you think of in this cold winter? What could be more romantic than this whale chasing trip in the far north?
It's like a dream that feels unreal when I think about it now. I was lucky to book a whale chasing trip on a Rib boat on Christmas Eve, and I was lucky to have a clear day with no clouds in the sky. I was also lucky to be on the lead boat, with the shelter of the cabin, the long journey was less windy.
The scenery along the way of chasing whales is like traveling on an alien planet in . The dark sea water is surrounded by silver mountains covered with snow, and occasionally a red fishing boat passes by, followed by hundreds of seagulls.
When the roaring boat motor stops, except for the salty sea breeze pushing the waves, all you can see is the cold silence.
With the captain Knut pressing the button to attract the whale group, the boat is speeding along the coastline, and I am kneeling on the last deck of the boat, inspecting every wave that arches up.
At this moment, the exclamations of my friends came from behind, it's the killer whale! We successfully chased the killer whale group!!
-------------------------------
On the way back, I encountered the bright moon rising in the mountains, and I sighed. We may have nothing under the bitter cold, but this process is enough to make people toss and turn. There are expectations and visions when we set off, the body temperature of each other, the excitement and joy when we chase the whale group, these things are connected, it is the best result. The cold wind and the salty water are just for a better taste in the future.
The reason why chasing whales in the far north is romantic is because of its stimulation and uncertainty that is different from normal life. I think romance always carries some adventure. What's more romantic than romance is, of course, holding hands with your lover and bravely stepping on an unknown road.

Tromsø Observation: South Beach
The first sight on the island is the Tromsø People's Park and South Beach at the southernmost end of the city.
In the harsh winter, there are no birds and flowers, only the howling sea breeze brushing past the face. The occasional knee-deep snow on the ground also reminds of the power of the cold.
The deeper feeling lies in desolation. The distant snow-capped mountains and the sea at hand are so quiet that they highlight how few people there are, how insignificant. The occasional tourists and the surrounding residents who are exercising against the wind have become the few of their kind seen this day.
Not until crossing the street and reaching the nearby Arctic University Museum, do you feel the long-lost warmth again.
