Out of the eighteen treasures of the Shaanxi Museum, four are in this exhibition hall. It is said that the treasures unearthed from two places in Shaanxi best reflect the wealth of the 'Tang Dynasty's prosperous era'. One is the underground palace of Famen Temple in Baoji, and the other is the cellar of Hejiacun in Xi'an. All the treasures in this hall come from Hejiacun. The Shaanxi History Museum is really, really crowded. You must book your tickets in advance, they are free but not exempt from booking, especially on weekends, you must book in advance, otherwise, you won't be able to get a reservation!!! When you enter the museum, you must get a guide, either a person or an audio guide, otherwise, it's easy to not know what you've seen. Relics are priceless treasures, but the stories behind them are even more worthy of our exploration. I love this little bronze dog the most, it's so cute and lifelike, and it even has a harness on its body, the ancients also loved their little dogs🐕 wow. It was renamed Shaanxi Provincial Museum in June 1955. In 1983, according to the instructions of Premier Zhou Enlai during his lifetime, the new museum began to be planned at the current site. Construction started in the summer of 1986, and it was officially completed and opened on June 20, 1991, and was named the current name. The museum covers an area of 65,000 square meters.
