Dongshan Temple

Dongshan Temple, located at the western foot of the Ovary Mountain in the east of Xuzhou City, was built in the early years of the Daoguang Dynasty in the Qing Dynasty. The founder is Master Seng Dingjian, the abbot of Xuzhou Jieyin Nunnery. In the early years of the Daoguang Dynasty in the Qing Dynasty, the abbot Dingjian, the abbot of the Pengcheng Yellow River, moved to Zifang Mountain and named Dongshan Temple to avoid the floods of the Yellow River. Dongshan Temple is well-known because it is located in the beautiful Zifang Mountain, and there is also the legend of Zhang Liang "singing on all sides" to disperse Chu soldiers. The incense was once very prosperous. , and now there is a side of the Qianlong imperial monument. Later, it gradually developed into a four-entry courtyard with Daxiong Hall, Luohan Hall, Zhaitang, dormitory, mill, monk's practice ground, and monument. At present, Dongshan Temple is facing east and west, facing Xuzhou Railway Station. Behind the temple, there is a bronze statue of Zhang Liang standing in front of Jiming Tan. The temple is built with Daxiong Hall, Sansheng Hall, Dizang Hall, Tianwang Hall, Zifang Hall, Bixia Yuanjun Hall, Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Tibetan Scripture Building, Zhaitang, restaurant, reception room, etc.
