The original name of the ancestor mountain is Guci Mountain. The scenic spot is beautiful and picturesque. It is said to be the center of the activities of the Yellow Emperor. The cultural relics of the Yellow Emperor are scattered all over the mountains and fields, including Xuanyuan Pavilion, Fenghou Temple, Leizu Temple, Huangdi Tunbing Cave and other historical sites. Fenghouling, the main peak of the Ancestor Mountain, is 793 meters above sea level. From a distance, it looks like a statue of Xuanyuan Huangdi. The hillside is densely covered with jungles, and the orchard is fragrant. The Qinggang Temple Reservoir on the halfway of the mountain is as level as a mirror and crystal clear. The Black Dragon Pool and the Jade Girl Pool on the west slope have gurgling streams, shimmering waves, and charming and moving. The strange peaks and rocks on the mountain, the grass and wildflowers are all refreshing and pleasant, and you will never want to leave. In the north of Xuanyuan Temple, there is a group of stone inscriptions where celebrities from all dynasties climbed to worship the Yellow Emperor. Celebrities and common people of the past dynasties climbed the mountain to worship their ancestors on March 3 every year, which has continued to this day.
