It's free to get a beautiful shot beneath the giant windmills. Electric golf car will bring you from the entrance to the top of the mountain to see the giant windmills and other part of the resort. To get a better view of the stunning windmill, visit during day time. Best time to visit on October so not too hot. The turbines are facing the sea.

Nice beach and very quite. very polite local people and delicious sea food.
k went for a couple of days and it was very relaxing.
Go to Shilin beach and have a delicious bbq at a beach comping with a cold beer. The bar name is Go Safari.
I spend the rest of the day at the Crown Plaza Hotel a big resort in the beach. you can have direct access to the beach and there were many
activity’s and chinese ktv bars. The hotel is huge with swimming pool and restaurants. the view of the sea is amazing.
Closed to the hotel there are many seafood bbq where you can choose the free fish!
I had a delicious dinner over there!
the weather wasn’t the best but I could definitely relax in that calm environment!

🏖Beach in Guangdong
More famous for flying kites you may of heard of Yangjiang, take a bus for 40minutes from Yangjiang City to Hailing Island and you can enjoy the sweet sea air in Guangdong.
🌊Going to the beach is great for ones health and mind - it has so many benefits for us, just listening to the sea you can feel a lot of peace.
☀️Of course a lot depends on the weather and although the weather wasn’t sunny in April, it was still great to be out enjoy the beach!
🧐The beach was somewhat littered with dead jelly fish when I visited unfortunately but I don’t imagine that is always the case!
🏊♀️Swimming in the sea is permitted in special areas
You will find many boardwalks around the coastal areas to wonder along. You’ll even find tandem hello bikes to rent at the roadside - but don’t bet on them being in working order 😂
Tips
If out walking along the coast, just be aware some public toilets were closed down!

🚎How to get there? We took a bus direct from Guangzhou > Hailing Island (It stops for about 20 minutes in Yangjiang where you transfer to a 6 seater car!)

Hailing Sunrise
It’s summer in China!
Woke up at 5.00am packed with photography equipment fully charged and headed to the beach just behind hotel Crowne Plaza, 5mins walking distance. Feeling the strong blowing wind during the blue hour while strolling across the beach before sunrise is really relaxing.
Just right about 5:39am, get the camera ready when the sky started to turn yellow indicating the sun is rising. Besides using a DSLR, this site allows for drone piloting which photos and videos can be captured on an even higher angles😁.

There's nothing more refreshing than jumping into the water to play in the summer. Now that the summer vacation is here, everywhere is crowded. To avoid the crowds, I found such a Venice Water City in Guangdong, full of Southeast Asian charm.
A super long swimming lane surrounds the entire villa resort area. Push open the garden door, and you can dive right into the water. It's less crowded and fun, and staying for two nights is just too enjoyable!!
The garden leads directly to the Hawaiian swimming lane.
This time I stayed in a water-friendly suite, whose biggest feature is the backyard of the first floor, where you push the door and there's the swimming lane, super cool! 🌟This is my first time to Hailing Island in Yangjiang City. The most attractive part for me is Mawei Island, which is essentially part of Hailing Island. It is actually a part of the sea extending from the island, located in the southwest of the island. Watching the sunrise and sunset is quite good, and there are few traces of human activities in this area. It is located around Guangzhou, and it is very convenient to come by self-driving or high-speed rail.

👉We came for the sunset this time. Just remember the sunset time, reserve 1～1.5 hours is enough, navigate here, if you drive or take a taxi, you can only go to a place similar to a parking lot and you can't drive anymore, then you have to walk.

ROOMS-The rooms are superb,They are extremely large,The seaview is stunning and the forest views just outside the door are immaculate!!
ACTIVITIES-The Island has a very beautiful clean beach with all the water sports you can ever think of.From Parasailing 🪂 to Helicopter 🚁 rides over the beach.The views are 🤩 stunning,the resort is surrounded by mountains and infinite forests.The water sports are fairly priced.
FOOD-The best meals I had in Yangjiang were from the local seafood restaurants in the area.Some of the rest delicious seafood pics are above.They have the freshest seafood ever!!!🦀🦞🦐
•The resort hotel offers breakfast and dinner.The dinner is amazing and cost effective on the other hand the breakfast didn’t impress me as much as the dinner did.

This year we decided to use our annual leave to travel in China. We are now at day 4 and our feelings brings us to the small island Hailingdao, 45 min from the Yangjiang Train Station away. I would recommend to come here in good weather, the beaches are gorgeous. The locals also celebrates chinese new year at the beach, so it was an different vibe for us.

Fairyland Resort
Big spacious rooms with a private beach view. Nice rooftop infinity pool but crazy busy. Beach bar run by a lovely Vietnamese woman is awesome, really nice snacks and imported beer. Good buffet breakfast but gets very crowded, long queues to get a seat. Staff are friendly and helpful.
