We booked a hotel near Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, so we bought some snacks nearby for lunch, like sea snail meat, satay noodles, and ginger duck. Day2 Gulangyu Island - Linjia Minnan Cuisine - Zhongshan Road You need to book the ferry tickets to Gulangyu Island online in advance. There are sightseeing buses on the island, but you have to queue up for them. My friends and I chose to walk around the island, which was quite tiring. Day3 Nanputuo Temple - Xiamen University - 202 Special Food Stall - We went to Nanputuo Temple before 9 am, bought some prayer beads, and since Xiamen University is right next to it, we took a quick look.
