Yuankui Pagoda is located on Dongdi 2nd Road, Duanzhou District, and faces the Xijiang River in the south. It was built in the third year of the Ming Dynasty (1623). The tower is 27 meters high and is octagonal. It has seven floors from the outside, but actually has ten floors inside. The base of the tower is paved with stone, the body of the tower is made of bricks, and arches are provided on the north and south sides of each floor. The tower goes from bottom to top, and the eaves and thousands of towers shrink layer by layer; the outside of each layer of the tower wall still has the "pole hole" used by predecessors when building the tower. Although the Yuankui Pagoda is short, its structure is exquisite and retains the architectural style from the Tang and Song Dynasties to the Ming Dynasty, which is of great research value. In addition, it faces the Chongxi Pagoda on the north bank, the Civilization Pagoda and the Maifeng Pagoda on the south bank across the river, forming a landscape of "four towers rising to the sky", which is very rare.
