2-Star Hotels in Henan, China

Stayed here before my morning flight and it did the job. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus to the airport, which is a huge plus if you’ve got an early departure. It’s cheap, simple, and has everything you’d need for a short overnight stay to catch some sleep before rushing off the next day. That said, you do get what you pay for. The floor was a little dusty, the mattress on the thin side, and toiletries are provided only in small sachets. Nothing fancy—but honestly, it was good enough for me. If you’re looking for comfort and luxury, this isn’t it. But if you want a budget-friendly, convenient spot to crash before an early flight, Hongtai Hotel ticks the boxes.

Wonderful stay. Definitely will recommend to others. Room is clean, beds are comfortable, host is friendly. Location is great. Away from the ancient city, You turn left from the inn to the main road, there is a really popular dumpling shop next to the police station, and on the main road if you turn left, there is a massage parlour on level 3, and further down is the night food market with great food. (Much better than what they offer in the ancient city) ranging from a 5-15 min walk. If you head towards the ancient city, turn right from the inn and it feels like you’re there already, but it’s just the outside of the wall, about 5 mins walk, you meet the actual entrance. And super picturesque. Thank you host. You guys are great!

Very close to the train station, but you need to transfer for the subway. I'd recommend taking a taxi or a bus instead. The elevator goes directly to the 7th floor. Check-in is promptly at 2 PM, and they provide disposable toothbrushes. The bed is very soft and comfortable to sleep on, though the bottom bunk is a bit low. The squeegee for the sink works great. There's both a Western toilet and a squat toilet, and the Western toilet comes with disposable seat covers. My only suggestion would be to replace the lidded trash can in the restroom with an open one; the lid is quite inconvenient.

Gorgeous facility- new construction, a lot of investment, beautiful, clean, no carpets, blackout curtains, comfortable bed, great various room lighting schemes, NO SMOKING effective- no odor. just clean, very well maintained, excellent location, quiet, great owners/staff, very very inexpensive for what I got-- the only thing a Sheraton, or Hilton would have on this place is a larger lobby.

This is a decent budget hotel with good value for money. The room was quiet. The front desk was friendly. There's ample parking. The cleanliness and facilities were acceptable, and overall, I had a good experience. I'd definitely consider staying here again.

Luoyang in spring is absolutely beautiful, and if you're passing through, you *must* come see the flowers. The guesthouse owner was incredibly welcoming, contacting us in advance to reserve a parking spot which was very close to the guesthouse. They were so thoughtful, recommending lots of great local restaurants nearby. The guesthouse itself is super close to Luoyi Ancient City, just a short walk away. Our room was also spotless and smelled fresh, which we really appreciated. We were very satisfied and will definitely be back in April during peak bloom!

The hotel met our expectations. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and efficient; check-in only took two minutes. The hotel environment is excellent—clean, tidy, and soundproofed. Its location right next to a subway entrance makes transportation very convenient, and Luoyi Ancient City is nearby. This was a fantastic experience, I have to give it a perfect score! The service was truly superb.

The hotel has complete disposable supplies, complete room facilities, very satisfied with the first stay, next time the staff is kind, the efficiency is also very high, the travel is convenient, a few minutes walk to the subway, the room is clean and bright, the sun is in the mood.

The hotel location is superb as it is just next door to the train station. What make the stay even better is the services by the hotel reception. From being attentive to our request and giving us all the information, she also allowed us to extend our check out time. Fully recommended to stay there. It is not 4 star hotel but i give them a 5 star rating

The hotel is conveniently located near the airport and provides a free airport shuttle, which is very helpful for transit travelers. The service is excellent, and the staff were helpful during our short stay. However, cleanliness needs improvement as the room was quite dirty. It may not be suitable for guests who are particular about hygiene. For us, it was acceptable because we were only transiting and stayed for about 4 hours to rest before our next flight. If you just need a short rest near the airport, this hotel is okay for a brief stay, but not recommended for a long stay.
