Amazing hotel. The room has everything you need. The sea is nearby 😍 and there's a beautiful lake on the other side. There's a bus stop behind the hotel, easy to get to from the train station. There are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. There's a 7/11. Thank you for your hospitality 🥰

It's a place I want to come back at a comfortable and tidy atmosphere and low cost compared to the price.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with the hotel. On the first day, I booked a 1.8m king-size bed room, but I was given a room with a 1.5m bed. However, after speaking with them, they upgraded me to a two-bed room for the second day. The room was very spacious, and I particularly liked having a separate entryway. They provided all the necessary disposable toiletries, and even the toilet paper was a good brand. There's a coffee machine on the first floor, so you can grab a coffee anytime. The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The accommodation was clean and the parking lot was spacious, which was nice. The bed was so comfortable, I think it was latex, and I slept like a log. The floor was low, so I could hear some traffic noise even with the windows closed, but I slept soundly and it was fine. The breakfast was also good. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was facing the ocean, so the sunset in the morning was really nice. But there were a lot of things I regretted. I planned to stay for 2 nights, but I only stayed for 1 night. Of course, there was no refund. It was a 3-person room, but the bed was an old spring bed that was uncomfortable because it rocked back and forth. It was chilly at night in March, and the building itself was chilly and the room was cool. It was ondol, but the outside air was chilly. There was no space to organize clothes, and the indoor facilities were very old and not managed, so no matter how clean they were, the interior was old enough that it was hard to tell. It was called a hotel, but it was at the level of a motel, and even the towels and bedding were old and dirty, so I guess it was a little uncomfortable. The towels were about the size of a foot towel, and they put some kind of plastic on the mattress, so it rustled every time I moved, and the door didn't close properly, so I had to force it open. The indoor floor was also very old, and the wallpaper was all torn. It really seemed like the worst hotel if it wasn't for the ocean view. There is a big difference between the photo and the actual hotel. If I were the owner, this is definitely not a hotel I would be proud to show off. It was a room facility that I wouldn't even want to take pictures of. It was a hotel with many regrettable points. There was no space to hang or put clothes in the bathroom.

The staff at the hotel are so friendly and especially it was so comfortable that you could open and close the door with your cell phone! It was really nice to walk around because there is a beach less than 5 minutes away! I'm completely satisfied in many ways! I'll come again!

I spent three nights at this hotel located not far from the entrance to Seorak National Park. So let's start at the beginning by stating that this was one of the main criteria that guided my choice and helped me narrow down the wide range of hotels in Sokcho. I wanted to be within easy reach of the reserve since I'm a hiking enthusiast. A word of advice, though: take a taxi, which will likely drop you off below the parking area. This way, you'll be sure to arrive well warmed up before your trekking session. But I'm getting further away from the hotel... A second element, logically related to the above, if, like me, you were looking for a quiet and peaceful place to rest after your workout, you've found it. A true haven of peace... perfect for a good night's sleep, except in exceptional circumstances, since the first night I had a serious snorer, and since the walls aren't very thick... I won't draw you a picture. Breakfast is available by informing reception the night before. For the price, don't miss out. Room cleaning is also available, just request it in the lobby. The rooms are remarkably clean, although not very spacious. But the hotel offers almost all the usual amenities one would expect in addition to the room amenities: toiletries, free 5G internet access, bottled water, French coffee pods (be careful, there's a catch) and green tea... Unfortunately, when it came time to extend my stay by one night to rest in the dry - the weather is very bad in Korea right now - reservations were fully booked due to Chuseok - Korean Thanksgiving - a major family reunion event where ancestors are honored... needless to say, this is also the most difficult time to find accommodation and, of course, the most expensive for us as guests. Prices easily double. Keep this in mind if you come to Korea, and especially if possible, book in advance during the fall holidays. Unfortunately, shortly after booking elsewhere, a room became available... And where I landed, I quickly found myself in a completely different world, with a clientele and atmosphere that were the opposite of what I had so enjoyed at the Amaranth Hotel. So British in a very nice way...isn't it?

We love this hotel’s vibes! The nice smell and homely feel won us over the moment we stepped in. The owner is extremely kind and upgraded our standard twin room to a double queen room on a higher floor which gives us a nice ocean view. Location is great and a 10-min walk to market and 15 min walk to Abai village. Owner’s sincere hospitality and helpful personality is commendable. Highly recommend this hotel!

Все отлично, за исключением коммуникации с администрацией до заселения. Отель находится рядом со станцией междугородних автобусов, с остановкой автобуса в Сораксан, с пляжем, с ресторанами, кафе, магазинами, супермаркетом. Словом, расположен идеально. Если окна Вашей комнаты выходят во двор, то будет очень тихо. В отеле все чисто и аккуратно.   Персонал вежливый и отзывчивый. Все просто (отель эконом-класса), но всего достаточно. Постель удобная,

It's right in front of the beach, so you can see the ocean, and if you walk a bit, you can eat soft tofu at the soft tofu village. It's great.
