Superb spacious hotel with great facilities, super clean and the best night receptionist ever! My son left his mobile in the Uber and Muz went above and beyond to help him get it back from the Uber driver. This receptionist was the most friendliest, most helpful and nicest guy we have come across. The Avid Hotel are so lucky to have him and we would not hesitate to stay at the Avid again. The breakfast lady was also amazing and super helpful. Fantastic hotel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The room was very clean, with a TV, microwave, and refrigerator!
The beds were very comfortable! The room was large, and the bathroom was clean!
Breakfast was good!
The price/performance ratio was right.
The location near the airport and affordability were the pluses. On the surface the room appeared mostly clean but there are cockroaches running around in the evening. To stay for the one night when I had an early flight it was okay, but maybe I’d check out other locations nearby next time.
The location of the motel was good. Easy to find and get to. The rooms were clean and the air temperature was comfortable when we walked in the room. The rooms are nice sized. The breakfast that is included was good.
Send your children to UIUC to study, stay here, cleanliness is acceptable, if you want to take the bus, don't think, 10 and 110 roads have an hour on weekends, but also go to Ubana to change the line, traffic and Zhengbei 22, and the northwest, southwest Wal-Mart near the line 1 is obviously worse. The price is basically the lowest motel.
GGuest UserIt was a terrible experience. The hotel is mixed with overnight guests and people sort of living there paying monthly rates?
Some person staying in room right next door actually knocked on my door, after midnight! Asking for ”a light”!
For what I can only imagine.
Totally freaked me out. I said no through the closed door.
THEN overnight, multiple times and from 4 am on, someone was pacing in the hallway outside my door!!!
It turns out could have been one of these residents with some sort of dimentia?? Or other mental condition.
When I asked the lady why she couldn't separate me or the regular overnight guests from these residents, she said because there's scattered around the building.
Obviously I will never stay there ever again.
The woman behind the desk was actually very sweet. But whatever they're doing from an ownership standpoint and a policy standpoint of mixing overnight, guests with these residents is obviously unacceptable and creep
KKaylaGreat location great view loved the breakfast the down falls that my jetty tub didn't work were supposed to send someone the next day never showed to fix and the bed was comfortable but whatever you have the bed on is a bad idea cause it makes so much noise just when you sit on the bed and need more grip on the porch and in by the pool I fell as it was wet outside on the porch and my son and including other children I had seen fallen by the pool area which kids are gonna get hurt I never recipient the extra stuff I requested when booking my room and false advertisement because the pics did not match up correctly when they showed me for when I booked my room the bedroom was different and was supposed to have couch in room and wasn't and my fireplace didn't work in my room so overall I would stay again if emenities got fixed I was partially satisfied with my stay...
GGuest UserAt first, we had a problem about the room being not ready for check in. However, the staff gave us the king size bed.
The location is good not far from the metro and walkable distance to downtown. The main problem for our stay was the very cold weather. Good stay.
DDiane BernadetteWe had a great stay at Parthenon Guest House! The restroom facilities were very clean, and having 3 showers and 2 toilets for the women’s area was a huge plus—it really helped avoid any long waits in the morning. The room was just the right size for the four of us, cozy but comfortable. We also enjoyed the common area, which had a nice vibe and was a good space to relax. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with anything we needed. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-maintained place to stay!
GGuest UserThe only thing I don't like is that you can only stay 21 days the hotel should allow for people to stay longer some people are looking for houses or apartments and have to keep moving from place to place until they get a place to stay that is my problem I like to stay in one place cuz I like this hotel a lot but I have to move every 21 days for 7 days I can't see how you can consider it and squatting when people are trying to find housing that's the only regret I have other than that the hotel is fine the people are wonderful that's all I got to say
GGuest UserSlight issues with the door, which had to be jammed on to be fully closed. Had to squash two bugs immediately upon arrival. Certain features such as the drawer on the nightstand to the right side of the bed were in poor condition. However, all features worked the way they should. Enjoyed proximity to Skokie and Uptown. Very professional and diligent office staff, with one employee in particular who worked hard to resolve technical issue with check-in.
AAnonymous UserWhen we arrived, was told that elevator had breakdown. We had to carry our heavy luggages to the 1st floor when hotel staff should have helped us in managing it.
Shuttle service was good, and driver was excellent and friendly. Guided us to the correct terminal for the drop off.
Breakfast though simple, but it managed to sooth our hunger. 👍
