Traveling to Wuyishan during the off-season was wonderful; the autumn scenery was absolutely stunning with everything golden-hued. I specifically chose a guesthouse to better appreciate Wuyishan's natural beauty. Shuizhuang No. 8 Guesthouse is truly nestled within a park, offering distant mountain views and a close-up look at the river while you sip tea and admire the ginkgo trees right outside your door. Not only is the scenery beautiful, but the surroundings are also quiet and comfortable. It's conveniently located with great transport links, and both the dining and accommodation are excellent. The service is warm and courteous, and the staff are very prompt in providing assistance. I'd highly recommend staying here over a hotel!

Meticulously kept property at the northern end of the Wuyishan tourist area. It's a quieter area, which is 10 minutes by car from the tourist area and the Southern entrance of the Wuyishan Scenic Area and 5 minutes from the northern entrance. It's quite serene and away from the crowds. The owners are very helpful and welcoming. Would definitely stay there again.

Very fate, came to the homestay a few hundred kilometers away, actually and the boss and his wife from the same place, from the beginning of the reservation, I felt very good, and really, got the warm hospitality of Sister Wu and Jiang Ge, just like returning home, eating is also recommended by them Nearby farms, the price is fair, the focus is delicious, Basically satisfy the taste of a family.
The surrounding environment of the homestay is very good. I like nature here is a paradise. You can run around this resort in the morning or take a walk in the sunset. The air is excellent. There are stars at night. We are here for the New Year. Fireworks can be set off at night, which is very pleasant.
We booked a family suite. A group of five large and one small people lived in a whole floor of three rooms. The bottom floor was a public living room. The kitchen table KTV had everything. I preferred a small lawn outside. There was also a hammock specially made by the owner. It is said that it is also available in the outdoor bbq. Unfortunately, this time is in a hurry, no stay is too long, friends reunion or company team building are also good choices!

Guest UserLocation: I originally booked Qian Mansion because I saw it featured in a short drama. I found it a bit inconvenient at first, tucked away in an alley. However, it's actually quite convenient for getting to Zhongshan Road. A short walk through the alley brings you right to the archway, and then it's straight down to Zhongshan Road.
Accommodation: I didn't stay in the main mansion but in the courtyard. The courtyard, though, isn't very soundproof. Most of the time, the stay was quiet, but it could get a bit noisy when children returned.
Service: I arrived early in the morning, and the front desk attendant (jie-jie) let us store our luggage. She even offered to put it in our room once it was ready. When we returned later, tired and hot, she said she had already turned on the air conditioning for us. Doing laundry was on the third floor, and after climbing Gulangyu, I really couldn't face more stairs. The attendant not only helped me wash my clothes but also hung them up to dry. I'm incredibly grateful to her.

Guest UserThe room was very clean and had an old mansion feel. The owner said it was a hundred-year-old building. There's no elevator, but a staff member helped us with our luggage to and from the room. The noodle breakfast provided was super nice, with lots of variety, and they even upgraded our room type, which was super comfortable. Although there aren't many good food options on the island, the stay itself was really great. Highly recommend! The only slight inconvenience is that it's a bit far from Sanqiu Pier, about a ten-to-fifteen-minute walk, but overall it was still very nice.

Guest User🏡 Comfortable Stay: The bedding was soft and fluffy, the air conditioning was powerful, and the shower water pressure was excellent—it felt just like home. The best part was the small courtyard; enjoying the sea breeze and tea in the evening was simply wonderful!
🌊 Amazing Location: Just a few minutes' walk to the beach, so you don't have to get up early to watch the sunrise; you can stroll there in flip-flops. Watching for the bioluminescent plankton is also hassle-free; the location recommended by the receptionist was spot-on, and we actually saw it—it was definitely worth the trip!
🍜 Delicious Food: All the restaurants recommended by the receptionist were delicious, and none were disappointing.
👏 Friendly and Excellent Service: The receptionist was incredibly approachable and responded promptly to any requests via WeChat. I'll definitely come back!
In short, if you're looking for a comfortable place to stay in Pingtan that's close to the sea and has a friendly atmosphere, this is the place to go!

The hotel's hygiene was good, and the bathtub was incredibly spacious – easily big enough for two people. The king-size bed was wide and soft. The sofa bed was a bit on the firm side. The projector wasn't very smart, LOL, it kept projecting onto other rooms. The sea view was minimal, only visible from one side of the balcony, not from the window by the bed. However, the window by the bed offered a pleasant and relaxing view of trees. Adjusting the hot and cold water in the shower was tricky; showering felt like a battle of wits!

The hotel is a small western-style building built more than 200 years ago. It is decorated in a retro style and is clean and hygienic. It is located in the center of Gulangyu Island. The surrounding is very quiet and close to the snack street. It is very convenient for shopping and eating, and it is not far from the tourist attractions. The hotel service is thoughtful and meticulous. Fruits were given and the breakfast was also very exquisite. The guy at the front desk gave road signs and locations before check-in, handed over hot tea when checking in, and helped with luggage. It was my birthday the day after check-in, and the hotel prepared longevity noodles for breakfast and gave me a birthday cake, which was a great surprise. Thanks to the two guys at the front desk for their hard work.

This hotel, originally a private villa owned by overseas Chinese, has recently been renovated. The guest rooms are located on floors 1-4, accessible only by stairs. There's a courtyard on the ground floor and a sunroom on the top floor. The rooms are very clean and tastefully decorated, fully equipped with everything you need. The smart voice control adds a nice touch. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options and was very satisfying. The hotel's location is excellent, just an easy five-minute walk from Sanqiutian Pier. The young owner even personally came to the pier to warmly greet us and, after check-in, provided useful tips on local specialties and tourist attractions on the island. Overall, our stay was fantastic, and we'll definitely be back.

The room I stayed in did not offer the river view that was advertised on the website. Instead, I could see the neighbors’ house through the window. It doesn't feel like a resort or hotel; rather, it more like a private house and
the owner living on the ground floor.
In the late evening around 10 P.M. and early morning at 7 A.M., I could hear children screaming loudly and people communicating, which might disturb those seeking a quiet environment.
I would not recommend this place for anyone who values tranquility. Having your own transportation would be ideal, as the bus stop is about a 10-minute walk away.
