Josun Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Seoul Gangnam

1. The hotel is located in Gangnam, but the reception area is a bit hard to find, located in the underground parking lot. The hotel staff were very helpful and polite, and could speak some basic Chinese. The lobby is on the 25th floor. 2. Check-in was very smooth. I recommend bringing a credit card for the deposit and for room service meals, as using Alipay was a bit inconvenient for me. 3. The room was clean and tidy, with a somewhat French vintage decor. It even had a garment care machine, which is quite rare. 4. I brought two children and booked two rooms. We didn't book the hotel breakfast, but ordered room service for 110,000 KRW, which was super cost-effective. I suggest skipping the hotel breakfast; the room service was exquisite and the portions were so generous that even four of us couldn't finish it. 5. For getting around, you can use Gaode Maps' ride-hailing feature, which is integrated with Kakao T in Korea (currently in beta). It seems a bit more expensive, and you need to zoom in on your location or ask the hotel staff to help you with the pinning. 6. Food-wise, I felt it wasn't quite my style. It was either grilled dishes or bibimbap, and the flavors tended to be sweet. Oh, and vegetables and fruits are very expensive in Korea. 7. For shopping, I went to Lotte Duty-Free and Shinsegae Duty-Free. Lotte had a lot of Chinese tourists, with many brands but mostly older models. Shinsegae Department Store had more locals and more new arrivals, so I recommend checking it out. The airport duty-free was also good. Overall, if you want to travel abroad to experience something new, it's fine. But for shopping, I wouldn't recommend it. We have everything in China, and luxury brands like Chanel are only about 20% cheaper after duty-free. There's not much else worth noting.

I've been looking forward to staying at Josun Palace for a long time, and it definitely lived up to the hype! It's absolutely stunning and the experience was fantastic. They open the main door for you, the car door, and there are luxury cars everywhere – it just screams 'chaebol vibes.' The room was beautiful, though the only slight downside was having to pay for toothbrushes and toothpaste.

This Luxury Collection hotel in the heart of Jiangnan is absolutely fantastic! The ambiance is elegant and upscale, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the service is meticulous and thoughtful. It's incredibly convenient for getting around, shopping, or even getting aesthetic treatments. My stay exceeded expectations – highly recommended! ✨

This hotel is located in the heart of Gangnam, right next to a shopping district, making transportation very convenient. The room facilities are standard, but the garment care cabinet is a nice touch and very useful for travelers. I particularly want to praise the breakfast, served buffet-style at The Constans restaurant on the 24th floor. The variety is excellent – Western, Asian, European, and vegetarian options are all available. They also have fresh juices and salads, which is great for those who like a healthy breakfast. Overall, the service was attentive, and the staff were quick to respond.

For Seoul, this hotel is pretty good. The facilities are new, and the twin beds are quite large, making it suitable for families. The service is also good; room service portions are generous, beautifully presented, and delicious. However, for this price point, light leaking through the edges of the curtains is really unacceptable, and the quality of the slippers isn't great either. It's not too far from anywhere, but not particularly close either... When calling a taxi via Amap, you always need the concierge to call them and tell them to come to the B1 lobby, otherwise they'll just stop by the roadside.

This is hands down my favorite hotel in Seoul right now. The service is incredibly attentive, and the breakfast and views are excellent. The pool is also great. It's a bit of a distance from some of the main areas, but getting an Uber or taxi is super convenient.

The room size was perfect for a solo traveler. The service was excellent, and the front desk even had staff who spoke Chinese, which was incredibly helpful and they were very polite. The hotel's location was also quite convenient. I'd definitely stay here again on my next trip to Seoul.

After staying at the Conrad Yeouido, I moved to this hotel, and the comparison was striking. First, the gym (Pic 2) – it's excellent! The equipment is new and comprehensive. The pool isn't huge but it's spotless. The views are also great; I really enjoyed working out while overlooking the city. The Conrad's gym on the 8th floor, in contrast, felt very ordinary. Next, the bar (Pics 3, 4) – the service was just okay (it felt like an outsourced operation), but the music was good, and the views were fantastic. I hope they improve the bar service. Finally, the hotel overall: I must commend their truly *outstanding* service. They were incredibly responsive. When we checked in, we asked for help booking a Michelin-starred restaurant at the hotel. We thought the staff had forgotten, but to our surprise, he left a note in our room later, apologizing that the reservation had failed. Then, when the mini-fridge started making noise in the middle of the night, we called for assistance, and someone quickly came to fix it. The next day, they sent pastries and an apology letter. These little touches really show their meticulous attention to service. There was a slight odor in the bathroom, possibly due to the strong winds and continuous rain during our stay. The hotel lobby and front desk have a museum-like quality, full of artistic flair. Overall, I really loved it. This will be my top choice for future visits to Seoul.

The room was much bigger than it looked in the photos, which was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend checking out the bar on the 19th floor – 1914. You do need to order a drink per person, but it's totally worth it. I enjoyed my stay so much, I didn't want to leave even after several days!
