Tokyu Stay Hakata

It's about an 8-10 minute walk from Hakata Station. The hotel environment is nice, and the bar on the first floor offers drinks and coffee from 2 PM to 10 PM. On the way from the station to the hotel, there's a 7-Eleven, Matsumoto Kiyoshi, and Yodobashi Camera (which has a supermarket and Daiso inside). Since it's close to the train tracks, there's a bit of noise, but it didn't affect my sleep.

The room was indeed a bit too small, but its proximity to the JR station made getting around very convenient.

Second time in Fukuoka, and another very satisfying stay! The hotel's location is excellent, just a seven to eight-minute walk from Hakata Station. There's a Lawson convenience store right by the back entrance, and while there's a tram line nearby, it wasn't noisy and didn't bother me at all. The room was quite spacious compared to other places I've stayed in Japan, with twin beds and a large desk perfect for piling up snacks from the convenience store. It even had a microwave and a washing machine with a drying function, which was incredibly convenient! Housekeeping is on demand; you can choose to just have your towels replaced or have towels replaced and trash collected. A full cleaning seems to cost extra. For breakfast, you get to choose one main dish out of four options, and then there's a self-service selection of smaller items. It's certainly not comparable to the variety you'd find at a five-star hotel, but it was perfectly adequate. I'm deducting half a star for service because one day the main course was slow to arrive, almost making me late for my plans. Other than that, everything else was excellent!

The hotel, from the lobby to the rooms, was as clean as always. Having a washing machine in the room is quite rare and incredibly useful – definitely a big plus! It's also super convenient, just a 10-minute walk to the station.
