Premier Inn Reading (Caversham Bridge)

Wonderful Premier Plus Room! I stay in a lot of hotels, Premier Inns are a firm favourite - this newly refurbished Plus room is by far the nicest. Yes the hotel lift isn't working and there is refurbishment occurring, but it's a minor temporary inconvenience if the rooms will be this nice. Wonderful addition of wireless bedside charging. The only thing I would change is to have the ability to screen mirror your phone to the TV.

This hotel had great amenities, lots of usb ports, great size tv and the usual premier inn good comfortable bed, all the staff we were really friendly and very helpful, and they made us feel very welcome, also the food was great, breakfast was freashly cooked. Will definitely use this hotel again

The place looks amazing after the refurbishment. Staff friendly as always. Breakfast hot, tasty and with loads to choose from. This place has never let me down and will always be my choice when I’m in the area.

Sausages at breakfast have changed these are not a patch in what they used to be. Not of good quality at all. A great sausage makes a great breakfast and unfortunately this was not a great sausage seemed cheap and nasty whick then made the whole breakfast not a nice as it could have been

Just returned from a weekend stay with our grand daughter (returning visit) Received a call the day before to say it was being refurbished. Very impressed with updates, very clean, very friendly staff, free parking. One negative point is the toilet facility in reception area is in need of updates. Definitely will return.

The air quality in my room was EXCELLENT. I travel with a scientific quality CO2 monitor, and normally air quality in Premier Inn rooms leaves a lot to be desired - ESPECIALLY the ones with windows that don't open (see my other reviews). Yet I was AMAZED at the high quality of the air in this hotel room - and all because the silent air extractor in the bathroom was working super efficiently (see attached video). This is the only ventilation in the room, and it was working brilliantly. I even tested the air with the bathroom door closed - and because the gap at the bottom of the door is very wide, the air quality in the room remained very high (see my CO2 monitor reading and the UK CO2 safety regulations). I have been stopping here for over six months now due to work commitments, I can onestly say the staff are very welcoming and friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant, special mention to Shakira and Patricia. The new rooms are brilliant and nice and clean, I always have a great stay big thumbs up 👍

We booked a few rooms for a family gathering over the weekend. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Manager on reception and breakfast ladies very helpful. Rooms clean spacious enough for our needs and beds the best we have slept on! We will definitely be coming back in the future. Thank you all at Premier inn Caversham you made our stay unforgettable

We used the hotel for business last night 6/2/24 - stains on the carpets, damp, bathroom floor was literally black (not by design), lino was 'rumpled' so an easy trip hazard. Mould on the ceiling and floor in the bathroom and the ceiling in the bedroom. An absolute disgrace and I will be requesting our company remove the hotel from our user list!!
