Dunde Glacier

There are mountain glaciers in all the high mountains in Aksai, especially the glaciers in Turgen Daban Mountain, more than 300 kilometers southeast of the county. There are 272 glaciers in the county, with a total area of 343.72 square kilometers, and the glaciers in Turgen Daban account for 80% of the total area. Among them, there is the relatively large Pingding Glacier in the Qilian Mountains - Dunde Glacier. Dunde Glacier covers an area of 57.07 square kilometers, with an altitude of 5290 meters at the top and 4580 meters at the end of the ice tongue. There are 7 large and small glaciers that can be climbed for sightseeing. The top surface is gentle, with a slope of about 30, which is easy to climb with bare hands and less dangerous.
