Yongxi Mausoleum is the mausoleum of Song Taizong Zhao Guangyi, only about 2 kilometers away from his brother Song Taizu Zhao Yu's Yongchang Mausoleum. The most abundant dynasty in Chinese history belongs to the Northern Song Dynasty, which is also one of the peak periods of the development of Chinese civilization. 🗺 There were 9 emperors in the Northern Song Dynasty. In addition to Song Huizong and Song Qinzong's father and son were taken away by the Jin people and died in Yilan, Heilongjiang, the remaining 7 emperors were buried in Gongyi, Henan, plus the tomb of Zhao Yu, the father of Song Taizu, collectively known as the "Seven Emperors and Eight Tombs". ⛰ But after the change of Jingkang, the imperial tomb of the Northern Song Dynasty was looted by the Jin people. During the Yuan Dynasty, it was all a ruin. Since then, Songling has been a tattered appearance, leaving only the statue of the gods in front of the tomb. 🗿 Yongxi Mausoleum is located in the village of Xicun Township, Gongyi City, Henan Province. A small tributary of the Yiluo River, Wuluo River, bypassed it, and the tomb owner Song Taizong Zhao Yu slept here. ☁️ Zhao Yu, Zhao Yu's brother was originally named Yiyi. Zhao Yu called the emperor and gave him the name Guangyi. In 976, Zhao Yuran died, Guangyi excused his mother, Queen Du, after saying that "brother not son", and entered the throne of God, at the age of 38, changed his name. At the age of 59, he died from an arrow injury. He was in power for 21 years (976-997). 🌾 The stone statues of Yongxi Mausoleum are exposed in the fields, and local villagers planted wheat on the land in front of the mausoleum. The stone statues were not only the guardian of the Northern Song emperor in the millennium years, but also the villagers who lived and reproduced here for generations. The stone statues are majestic and artistic. Its stone sheep lie tall and have a beautiful image. From the plastic arts or carving techniques, it is the best in Songling. 🪨 Compared with other Songling stone carvings, Yongxiling stone carving works are taller, the portraits are full of face, the expression is majestic, and the immersive people feel the pressure. From Yongchang Mausoleum, it was getting late, because I had to rush to Luoyang, so I could only see another Songling. From the map, the nearest is Yongxi Mausoleum, which is almost built next to Yongchang Mausoleum, so I navigated directly to the past. Unexpectedly, it was driving until the end of the backyard of other people's farmhouses, and I didn't see Yongxiling. Later, I learned that it was opened, because the location of Baidu map navigation is not very accurate, Yongxiling is actually on the road passing by the village, did not pay attention at the time, thinking that Yongxiling should be in the more desolate farmland. So parked the car in the farmhouse, then walked around to find, with intuition along a no-man village road, finally found Yongxiling. It is only the shrine of Yongxi Mausoleum, which has now become a small square in the village. Old people either sit on the stone statues and live on the grass, or exercise in the small square, or play with their grandchildren and granddaughters. At that time, I thought that since Yongxiling has become a part of the daily life of the local area, then it should be no problem to take pictures. As a result, I just took two pictures. An old man with a red sleeve came out and shouted, and it was not allowed to take pictures. Fortunately, it was not very strict, as long as it was far away from him, it was fine to take a pat. Speaking of Yongxi Mausoleum, this is the place where the second emperor of the Song Dynasty, Song Taizong, Zhao Guangyi, slept. Zhao Guangyi is the brother of Song Taizu Zhao Yu, in 976 AD, Zhao Yuran died, the previous article mentioned Zhao Yu's death may be related to this brother, but Zhao Guangyi is still very strong excuse mother Du Queen Mother's legacy "pass on the brother not the son", and ascended to God, at the age of 38. The most worth seeing in Yongxi Mausoleum, still still the stone statues on both sides of the Shendao, the stone carvings here have always been considered to be the best in Songling whether it is from the plastic arts or the carving technique. Among them, the stone sheep and stone end are the most outstanding, the shape is majestic, the knife method is refined, its charm and appearance are lifelike. Because the shape of Yongxi Mausoleum is similar to Yongchang Mausoleum, it is not explained that every stone statue is born, but overall, Yongxi Mausoleum stone carvings really start to pay more attention to detail. I feel the most deeply about the statue of the character of Yongchang Mausoleum, because Yongchang Mausoleum, especially the martial general of Zhenmen, always gives people a sense of proportional imbalance, and the statue of the character of Yongxi Mausoleum, although it is also a large head, but looking up close, I will feel that the proportion of the head and the whole body is just right. And give people a sense of body, at the same time, the face is full, the expression is majestic, not like the cute comic texture of Yongchangling. Of course, I prefer the Yongxiling, or the stone statue outside the square, those stone carvings scattered in the farmland, as if it is the time that has passed, the history of the vicissitudes should have. Especially a serpent's carving, hidden in a piece of corn field, it is not easy to walk past, because the corn is particularly strong and tall, but when it is really standing in front of it, it is the first time that I feel the imprint of time, as if everything has not changed.
