Mahaoge Huo is a Sanskrit phonetic translation of Da Ri Tathagata, and its free translation is "Da Hei Tian". The rulers of Yuan Dynasty were regarded as military gods or war gods. The niche is rectangular in shape, with a slightly radian top, 2.45 meters high and 4.1 meters wide. There are three small niches in the niche, among which are the mahoku thorn statue, the lion riding statue of Manjusri on the left, the Puxian riding statue on the right, and the flame backlight behind the three statues. There are three golden-winged birds on the niche lintel, about which there are also flying birds and running animals. On the north side of the niche are inscriptions of Chinese statues from Yuan Dynasty to the second year of Zhizhi, which are very precious. Compared with the Tibetan Buddhism of Feilaifeng in Hangzhou, the Mahaoge statue has a different style. Therefore, it is an important object for studying the development of Tibetan "Sanskrit" statues.
