There is a main hall facing the road
Original Text
Shonenji is a temple of the Jodo Shinshu Honganji school located about a 5-minute walk from Hanakuma Station. It is a temple in a residential area. I worshiped when I took a walk around Hanakuma in March. Facing the road, there was a 2 floored main hall with reinforced tile roofs. There was a natural stone in front of the hall with the name of the temple engraved. It was a beautiful modern temple.
This is a temple of the Jodo Shinshu sect that I discovered during my exploration of the Nishimotomachi area the other day. At first I thought it was a private house. When I stopped by, there was a stone pillar written as "Jodo Shinshu Honganji School Shonenji", and although it was a mini-sized size, there was a fishing bell, and it was Etosetra, and it was a temple! When I look up, the tile roof is magnificent. The decoration of the main building was so-called "cloud". There is no such type of temple in Kurume (still). It became a good souvenir story. By the way, the snack "Kurara" is across the road. This ...
It is a temple with no features that blends into the surrounding residential areas. When I saw me being photographed by a neighbor, I passed by with a strange face. It's safe to pass quietly.
I felt a little cramped between the surrounding houses. I found that the temple monument stood facing the road and it was a temple. At first glance, it was an urban-style temple that seemed to be a large private house.
