The Kunshan Library, the first of China's top 100 counties, is a more advanced public library in county-level cities nationwide. It was completed on January 28, 2005, covering an area of 12,000 square meters, with a construction area of 18,600 square meters, costing more than 100 million yuan, and has five floors high. In December 2018, it was announced as a reading demonstration base by the China Library Association. The library opened at 9 o'clock and closed at 21 o'clock.
