Meiji Emperor's birth のdi
It is the site of the residence of Tadayasu Nakayama, the court noble at the end of the Edo period. Tadayasu's daughter is the mother of Emperor Meiji, and Emperor Meiji was also born on this premises. There is also Yui named after Yumiya, the childhood name of Emperor Meiji, so I think it's a good idea to visit together.

Located in the northeast of the Kyoto Imperial Palace. The site is surrounded by fences and cannot be entered, and there is a brief explanation board outside the fence. According to it, this is the birthplace of Emperor Meiji. It is also an important place for the current imperial family.
