Manila North Cemetery

When I first came to the cemetery in northern Manila, I was deeply shocked to see people living next to the graveyard of the dead. I even took pictures. It was considered a cemetery, but in my opinion it was just the community of people living inside. I hired a tricycle to take me around. I saw the tombs of very different celebrities, like the president of the Philippines and a movie star. These tombs are huge, comparable to a two-story house.

It covers an area of 54 hectares and is one of the largest cemeteries in the metropolitan area of the country. It is located on Bonifacio Avenue and is close to two other important cemeteries: La Loma Cemetery.
