Gonshoji Temple, a temple of the Honganji School of the Jodo Shinshu sect, is called Yanagi Kozan. Gonshoji Temple was founded as a coastal temple in 1272 by Hoen, the sixth son of Shigetoki Hojo (1198-1261), and Homi II studied Esoteric Buddhism and taught the lion dance (mizustop dance) that is handed down here. It is said that the sixth generation Ryoi converted to the Jodo Shinshu sect, the tenth generation Yuchi went to Ishiyama Honganji Temple to participate in the battle with Oda Nobunaga, and the eleventh generation Yue changed the temple name to Gonshoji Temple.
It is a temple located near the industrial road in Omori, and it is a place that can be accessed on foot from Keikyu Omoricho Station by rail. It was a temple of the Jodo Shinshu Honganji school that was built hundreds of years ago, and it was very normal as an architecture.
It has historical value as a cultural property. I understand that it is not easy to make use of it. It's not surprising as a building in the hospital. It's a pity. Access is not good.
It is a historic temple that spreads behind Omori Daiichi Elementary School along the industrial road. I walked on the right of Kakuyas, but it seems a good idea to enter from the intersection on the north side of the elementary school by car because it is one. When the white walls along the road were interrupted, I thought it was a large mountain gate, but there was a bell tower that fell down the Bonsho, which is a cultural property of the ward, and it was quite overwhelming. Passing under it, looking at the wisteria shelves and pigeon statues, a magnificent main hall was built and I was attracted to the sculpture of white lotus flowers. In addition, ge ...
Gensoji is a temple of the Jodo Shinshu Honganji school located about a 10-minute walk from Keikyu Omoricho Station. This temple was built in 1272 by Hoen, the sixth son of Shigetoki Hojo. I worshiped when I visited temples and shrines near Omori in March. There was a monument to Mizushimai Temple in front of the well-shaped bell tower gate. Also, Bonsho is a cultural property of Ota Ward. Several people were worshiping. It was a temple with an impressive white wall. If you are interested in shrines and temples, why not visit them?

The bell tower was spectacular.
