Hōzōmon Gate

Hōzōmon Gate A famous landmark in Akasuka, next to a famous Buddhist temple and Shrine, surrounded by hundreds of little shops and restaurants. It's a must visit place for tourists, however be aware, it gets really crowded at the weekends.

After leaving the "Zhongjianshi" commercial street, I went to the treasure gate of Sensoji Temple two floors high. Why is it called the treasure gate? Because the second floor has a cultural property collection library, it is called: Treasure Gate!

This is the mountain gate of Zhongjianshi Commercial Street leading to Kiyomizu Temple. Its scale is even comparable to that of Kiyomizu Temple in the back. The red pillar beams, blue tile roofs, and two macaws are separated around the corner, and three large lanterns are hung in the middle, which is particularly majestic. Because there is a "Sensus Temple" plaque on the door, many tourists punch in and take pictures here. It is also interesting to see two oversized straw shoes hanging on both sides of the rear through the treasure door.

After Leimen passed, I walked along the street where the shop was unified and walked to the gate of the Asakusa Temple area. In fact, Asakusa Temple is still a relatively open temple with no very large walls. The gate is more eye-catching and the pagoda next to it has become the symbol of Sensoji Temple, and the yellow lights at night hit the red building, adding an elegant and noble temperament.

Treasure Gate, a rebuilt reinforced concrete building in Showa in 39 years, and the Great Airstrikes at the end of the Pacific War also suffered.
