Wanyuan

Wanyuan City is located in the northeast of Sichuan, at the heart of the Daba Mountains where it forms the dividing line between China’s northern and southern climates, and the watershed of the Jialing and Han rivers. Wanyuan is home to Batai Mountain, a National Geopark of China; the “ten-mile gallery” of Longtan River; the “immortal Chinese mountain” Yanxia Mountain; the summer leisure resorts of Yuquan Mountain, Changdong Lake, and Biantong Gorge; and characteristic ecotourism spots such as Shiguan Ancient Temple, Guanyin Gorge, Xiangwang Limestone Caves, Wangyu Forest, Chahai Chenxi, and Longtan Hot Springs. Wanyuan has been hailed as the “health paradise of Western China.”
