The location slightly far from city but with Waze all accessible. The room, the hotel, the staffs, the breakfast buffet all of the superb. My kids quite enjoyed staying in this hotel especially the swimming pool, the seethrough glass from swimming pool to downstairs, the view of Ipoh city and we also get to see some helicopters and aeroplane from swimming pool view too. The hotel management really did a good job to keep this hotel quality the best and I hope the next time I stay there again, it will be remain the same as per now. Things I am looking forward would be more parking lot as currently it is quite limited even now not peak hour season. Hope they will work it out about it. Overall, it is great choice to stay here!

Hotel is just a 5min walk to ipoh parade! Close to airport too (about approx 20mins) housekeeping was good! The hotel staff were friendly too. Shoutout to the malay guy in charge of the eggs station at the hotel buffet location as he really put his heart into frying every single omelette!

Had such a lovely stay at DoubleTree by Hilton, Perak 💛 The place is so calm and conveniently located — perfect for a quick getaway! The rooms were super cozy and clean, and I loved the warm, welcoming vibe from the moment I checked in. The food was amazing (can’t get over the breakfast spread 😍) and the staff were just the sweetest, always smiling and ready to help. Everything felt so well taken care of. Definitely one of those stays that makes you want to come back again 💫🍃

Newly renovated room on 8 floor. Very decent room and breakfast for the pricing. Parking outside the hotel . Good location near to airport and petrol station. Hotel is under renovation but still is decent enough. 41 RM for breakfast for 1 pax seem cheaper than booking online which is for 2 pax and higher price.

My 3rd time stay at this hotel. Overall i can say is the first (2022) and second (2023) better than this time (2025). I don't know why, but I think they need to upgrade their facilities (shower, television channel, mini refrigerator, cleanliness of mattress, got stain on it) cause its look old ☹️. But, the service soo good. They sooo friendly and welcoming. I feel very comfortable and make me want to stay again and again at Novotel whenever I go to Taiping. Btw, their breakfast quite good.

Okok, overall good experience, can try to stay a night or 2, a bit pricey with rm 400plus a night without hot spring ..hahaha

My stay at the resort was amazing! If I could give it 10 stars I would. Hospitality was top notch, ambience was perfect. Maybe reduce Buggy wait time during seasonal time as we almost had a rift at the beach with an Asian family who were rude to us, acting like we didn’t belong there. Literally acted like they had the right to tell us not to get on one because they were a group. We didn’t know that as there was no visible queue and profiling bunch of random Chinese people to infer they are in a group would be stereotypical. I understand the resort cannot control the kind of people in their space however I brought it up with our guy at the receptionist who apologized for the situation. I will definitely be back here as I had an amazing time

Location Located at the quiet corner of Jalan Che Tak, it is just opposite the popular 2 dishes old coffee shop Chee Wah - Claypot Lou Shu Fun and fried chicken wings. We took about 10 minutes using Grab from Ipoh Railway Station to here. Room It is a small family-run hotel that won many accolades. We booked 2 nights - Duplex Family Room. One King bed on the ground floor and a very steep staircase to the second room where there are 2 single beds. A flat screen TV is also provided at this second room too. We slept very well on the soft pillows and bed. The normal amenities of a hotel are provided. There is even a hot and cold water dispenser in the room. Cleanliness of the room is acceptable. Aircon is quiet and in good working order. Bathroom Clean with strong pressure of hot and cold water. Hanging hooks are provided. Breakfast It is served in the dining area on the ground floor. Very simple of local food but adequate. Service Friendly and warm. There is a lift at the lobby.

We had our own natural hot spring tub… soaking in warm water under the trees, just talking, laughing, and sometimes saying nothing at all. It felt intimate, real, and healing. 🧘♀️ The caves — Meditation cave was so quiet, we could hear our own hearts. Steam cave felt like a reset for the body. We didn’t rush anything. Everything there teaches you to slow down. 🍽️ Jeff’s Cellar dinner — This was the highlight. Fine dining in a 260-million-year-old cave — just wow. Romantic, calm, and full of little surprises from the chef. We’ll never forget it. 🌿 The overall experience? It’s not just a resort. It’s a space where two people can really reconnect — without noise, without distraction. Just you, your person, and peace. ⸻ We came here to rest. But we left with something more. A calm heart. A really nice place outside of the old city in a busy new area with malls on the doorstep. Be aware, the guy on reception tried to charge me a tax and I had to show him my booking to get the money back as trip had included it in the cost. Other than that a very nice place.
