GGuest UserYou can't beat the location, maybe a block's distance from the old bazaar and castle. The hotel is very airy and the staff are attentive. We got lucky and were assigned a primo room with a balcony and view of the castle, valley, and city. The shower took a little bit to get warm but then the temp was great. Comforters were plush, too! Thanks Enea, for bearing with us. Your hospitality and graciousness were much appreciated!

PPaulJacoobWe had a wonderful stay at Hotel Kalemi 2 in Gjirokastër! The hotel itself is full of charm, beautifully combining traditional Albanian architecture with modern comfort. The breakfast was absolutely delicious — fresh, varied, and served with care in a lovely setting.
A small tip for travelers arriving by car: Google Maps can sometimes make mistakes when guiding you to the hotel, so it’s best to double-check the route or contact the reception for directions — the staff are very friendly and always ready to help.
Overall, a fantastic place to stay in Gjirokastër — cozy, authentic, and with great hospitality!

Joni was a great guide showing us the way to the house and also helping us in the evening when we were lost. Gjirokaster was one of our favorite places in Albania❤️we also had a very good breakfast in the morning.

GGuest UserClean room, comfortable bed. Small hotel room. Tv was pointless, couldn't login to Netflix or any services. No kettle in the room, fridge is outside your room which was nice. Good location, market across the road and restaurants all around. Parking included was nice.

AAnnamarieVery pleasant young team with good English in charge of reception and the breakfasts. Terrace with stunning views. Just on the edge of the old town - everywhere easy to walk to and friendly (but don’t go for the gastronomy) restaurants. A comfortable place to stay.
