The room was spotless, and the toiletries were complete, including disposable towels. The breakfast was delicious, and the bed was so comfortable. The view from the window was absolutely stunning. I even received a small gift when I checked out, which was a lovely surprise!

Staying at the Golden Lion Hotel was the biggest surprise of my trip to Cangzhou! While the hotel's facilities might seem a bit dated at first glance, they are incredibly well-maintained. The rooms are large and comfortable, and the bathroom, in particular, felt very high-quality. What truly impressed me most was the service – friendly, fast, timely, and respectful; everything was executed flawlessly. The complimentary shuttle service to major attractions and the high-speed rail station was incredibly convenient and comfortable! The dining experience was nothing short of a feast. The breakfast quality, even when compared to top-tier cities, is absolutely outstanding – a true culinary delight! Over three days, I diligently tried to sample as much as possible: lamb intestines, donkey burgers, fried tiger (likely a local dish name), meat buns, congee, tofu pudding, jianbing guozi, sugar oil cakes, noodles, various hot and cold dishes, and a wide array of fruits. I truly gave it my all! Plus, the hotel provided a 198 RMB dining voucher, which I used at the Cantonese restaurant, and without exception, everything was delicious! Trust me, you need at least three days to fully enjoy all the food here. All in all, the Golden Lion is the most cost-effective hotel I've stayed in for years. Its overall quality clearly surpasses most international five-star hotels, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it's worth revisiting Cangzhou just to stay at the Golden Lion again.

Absolutely thrilled! The courtyard room offers incredible value for money. The hotel is super comfortable and clean, with a unique garden landscape. The staff and guests are all very friendly and pleasant. The eight little cats at the hotel are incredibly cute! And there are deer too! There are many fruit trees, and guests can pick and taste the fruit. We had some small cherries, and the staff said the apricots would be ripe in about ten days. There are only two things that could be improved: I smelled someone smoking indoors, so please enhance patrols; and the peacock cage is too small, which isn't great for the animals. I'll definitely be back and will highly recommend it to my friends. A truly wonderful trip to Chengde!

An absolutely fantastic experience! Not only was the service excellent, but the room was also spotless, tidy, and comfortable. I particularly enjoyed a relaxing hot bath in the in-room bathtub. The breakfast spread was incredibly rich, offering both Chinese and Western options, so there was plenty to choose from. The executive lounge on the 53rd floor was also great, with attentive service. The evening food selection there exceeded my expectations – I didn't even need to go elsewhere for dinner. The red wine I had was also very good, smooth and not at all astringent.

As foreign travellers, we ran into some difficulties purchasing attraction tickets and bus transfer due to lack of a local phone number. We met David at the concierge and asked if we could get some help to purchase. Without hesitation, he offered to purchase on our behalf and even followed up with the attraction to confirm the arrangement. Thanks to his help, we were able to visit the attraction smoothly the next day without any issues. He made us feel very welcome, and his help left us with a wonderful impression of Handan☺️ Thanks David!

A truly excellent hotel, located right in the city center. **Facilities:** This is a very high-end hotel with brand-new facilities. The thick carpets in the hallways feel wonderfully soft underfoot. **Cleanliness:** The hotel's cleanliness is impeccable. The rooms are spotless, and the hallways, elevators, and even the parking garage are all very clean. **Environment:** The surrounding area is lively, as it's a central location. But the absolute standout is the service. We had gone to the arts center for a performance and it ended quite late. Driving back to Beijing would have been too tiring, so we made a last-minute decision to stay overnight. We arrived at the hotel around midnight after dinner. The staff on the ground floor were still incredibly energetic and professional, polite and attentive without being overly enthusiastic. They were a great help in resolving several issues. They truly deserve special commendation. My only slight reservation is that while the room itself isn't small, the bathroom and shower take up about half the space, making the sleeping area feel a bit cramped.

My stay at the InterContinental Shijiazhuang Fortune Centre was excellent overall. The room was clean, the environment was quiet, and the amenities were comprehensive. I'd especially like to thank Lillian, one of the staff members. She handled communications very professionally, proactively addressed my billing concerns, and meticulously helped me check the room both before and after my stay. Her thoughtful greetings and genuine, easygoing demeanor, coupled with her efficient way of working, made her service truly heartwarming. The hotel's service standards were exceptional, and the personalized, human touch from the staff made me feel incredibly welcome! Thank you! It was a very comfortable stay, highly recommended. A good choice for summer vacation. When Beijing is 33 degrees, it is 25 degrees. The stay experience far exceeded expectations. The homestay is hidden in the green mountains and dense forests, away from the city's dry heat, morning and evening accompanied by the cool breeze in the mountains, refreshing and comfortable. Surrounded by green trees, the door is the mountain forest scenery, you can hear the birds singing in the morning, and you can stroll along the mountain path in the evening. The air is fresh and pleasant. The service is warm and thoughtful, and the people are caring and thoughtful. Before and after check-in, carefully guide the route and help carry the luggage. Three meals are made of local farm ingredients, wild vegetables, native eggs, and stewed chicken. The rooms are clean and tidy, the bedding is soft and dry, the bathroom facilities are complete, and the details are in place. The surrounding area can be climbed and picked, the stream can be cooled, and it is leisurely. The overall environment is quiet and comfortable, eating and living comfortably, and the price is very high. It is a great place to escape the heat in summer.

Arrived on the afternoon of Chinese New Year's Day. Both counters were busy during check-in, but Cathy proactively directed us to the third one. Since we were two adults with two young children, it was a bit of a struggle. Cathy thoughtfully gave the kids small horses to comfort them, which was very sweet. For the rest of our stay, everything perfectly matched our booking requests: a bed rail was installed, and child-friendly toiletries and a toilet seat were provided. The housekeeping staff never slacked off, even though the kids made quite a mess. Our room was always spotless when we returned. We'll definitely be back!

The location is great, with many attractions nearby and close proximity to various scenic spots. Parking is very convenient, and it's also very close to the beach – just a few minutes away. The beach here is quite clean, and seeing the ocean just washes away all your worries. The hotel even provides free tools for clam digging. The room environment is also excellent, and the front desk staff are all very polite and courteous, always doing their best to arrange and solve any issues. They even gave us a free small gift when we checked out. We'll definitely bring our kids back again if we have the chance.
